Great processor! I bought one of these last week got it next day. Upgraded the ram to 4gb(6gb in total now) via crucial for £29 incl delivery, spent £2 on a DVI to HDMI adapter via amazon and Now I am sorted. I use the laptop mainly to video edit for my wedding video business. Have to say, you can find better but for the price this is amazing and it does the job very fast.

Honestly as a video editor - you don't need more than this unless you're a toff.

Nice spec and great price. Heat added.

Dire mistake getting a £2 HDMI cable to go with what sound like a nice bit of equipment.

Not really, it works really well.

have recently bought a C660, it is not very solid build quality wise.
Also connectivty is very limited and the wireless is hit and miss.

Perfectly ok for around the home and a gentle life.
I would not want to have to travel about with it or have a child use it as it does feel a
little fragile.

The panel on the bottom that covers the Hard Disk and memory is large but held on
with only one screw, it also flexes a lot.

The screen is very good, bright and sharp and I quite like the textured finish, think a
giant black Golden Graham.

I thought this comes with only VGA port. How did you manage to fit in a DVI (to HDMI) adapter?

Have you tried logging into your router and changing the channel? I bought an Acer laptop which had awful wi-fi, but I changed the router channel now it is perfect.

did you update the drivers etc?

Going via quidco will net you about £2.40 I bought the d255 dual core via quidco Argos eBay outlet for £160 and got £1.64 better than nothing. Also the refurb netbook I got was brand new unopened still had the acer security stickers intacked.

it's still a good question tho. the c660 series is mostly similar in interface specs.

if it's this one eg it doesn't have dvi either, but is an i3 and the same specs as above

http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-C660-1F1/1101907/toshibaShop/false/

in fact, it's hard to find one with dvi......and you'd think argos themselves would list it in the specs.....
