great for cheap vids hot

I imagine that at this price it's ideal for 'home' use! ;)
#8
Anyone who owns care to comment on quality?
#9
I've owned one for around 10 months, and for the price its not too bad. The image stabilizer is a little lacking but quality is ok aside from that.

If you'd like to see a sample (indoors and very low light, so trouble keeping focus) and at the same time, see my stand-up comedy debut, there is a video of mine at www.youtube.com/seanjudgecomedy (click HD for better quality)

I paid 125 quid for it at the time by the way!

hot price

cold product

Very good price for this camcorder as I know how much other retailers are selling it for. However the quality of the product is not very good. If you want to upload video on You Tube or giving someone(kids) as gift is fine.

Ashen's review on Youtube sums it up. Cold. Avoid.

Actually, looks like the review is for a later model. Still, doesn't look promising to me.

Actually a review of a completely different model.Sums up a completely different model.

cheap but not that good a product hence the price.

That review is for the Camileo H10 not the one listed here. This review is also incorrect on many things and although I agree with some of the comments this camera is no where near as bad as that review and the sound is his clip is not true. Mine is far better but then again I don't throw my camcorder around like he does so perhaps thats due to damage?

Both this deal and the reviewed camera above are not great cameras by far. They are not something you would take your family videos on or go on holiday with but they are great for things like YouTube and short clips to put in emails ad listings and so on.

I think Argos did have some cheap HD camcorders on offer a few months back for around £199 - £300. They were Panasonic or Samsung. Thats about the cheapest decent HD Camcorder I know of.

The Toshiba Camileo Pro and the Toshiba Camileo H10 are both good cheap second cameras or starter cameras. Just don't expect the earth. I think the price reflects what you get here.

do you think these would be good for filming sports? for example if i wanted to film a sport performamce and then play it back to people to evaluate their performance?
#17
The Camileo Pro I can't say as I own a Camileo H10. You can get both from play.com. It really depends on the sport. I cant see why not, I've seen some schools using a web cam for this and both these camcorders are way better than a webcam!
