The is is not a slow netebook. The system is powered with new Celeron Dual Core. The T1600 has 1mb cache, 667 bus and Merom core.Basically, it meants that is sholuld not be significantly slower than similarly clocked Core 2 Duo T5xxx and can be even faster than older Pentium dual cores e.g.T2330

But it will be slower and with 1mb cache and 667 bus it will be slower by quiet a lot on large applications and the toshiba is only £35 more and has 2mb cache 800 bus and 3gb of ram not 1gb and a slower processor

Well worth the extra £35 don't you agree??

which would you buy???

In my opinion (yep i know probably worth nowt before you say)anyone looking for a low priced laptop would not go wrong with the one from comet

If the one in Comet was actually in stock though!

Nice. You're a classy guy.:x

The point was that they were after a laptop so i gave them a couple of quick examples that were in stock....and you didn't.

And yes, there are now better deals than those also since the first post. No need to flame me for it:?
