Seems not too bad a deal and it does state it is grade a stock

Definaition of Grade A :
These are Toshiba GRADE A units, meaning that they have been returned to a major retailer either as a failed delivery, under a money back guarantee, cancelled order or unwanted gift.
The product is therefore returned to source where it is tested (repaired if faulty) and repacked. Some units may have slight marks from the handling they receive.
Each item has been upgraded with the latest software, re-packaged and re-boxed in retail cartons with all manuals.

so people are already deciding on the condition of these yet they are stated as - Condition : As New Grade A

looks like a deal to me.

Voted cold as PC World have these in at £55 inc delivery - sorry!

Good price...bit of heat added! :-D
Used Big Pockets (guys behind Boffer) many a time and delivery & service is second to none!

However, this range of Tosh DVD recorders do not have RGB input enabled scarts...
Unlike their previous models. :?

This looks good, too bad i can't get freeview in my area til late 2009, I already have an upscaler and an Xbox 360 to play Xvid...

But it is a Toshiba machine and it looks really nice.

The PCworld one does look good value, but it's not in stock anywhere close to where I live. Is it in stock anywhere? Not available for online orders.

Not available anywhere probably as its a famous DSG 97p discontinued item.

The DVD on my trusty Pioneer Video-HDD-DVD gave up the ghost the other week and I took a risk with a 'graded' JVC HDMI HDD/DVD from Telephones Online (£56.98 delivered) - so far I'm really pleased - but perhaps given time I'll find out why the previous owner returned it and be eating my words.
Although I'm really pleased for the price etc. you should be aware that these items are very unlikely to have been properly refurbished, they're generally items where no fault was found when returned and they are simply re-packaged (probably in the original box) - if you're lucky there really was nothing wrong...

Warranty : Only 90 Days RTB
