Personally I don't think the Toshiba warranty is worth the paper it's written on so I wouldn't bother extending

My screen packed up on my 13" Tosh laptop in less than 6 months & Toshiba wanted over £300 to replace claiming I'd damaged it which I hadn't....got replacement screen fitted on ebay for less than £100

Will never buy another Toshiba laptop,,,,

I think this is a good deal, the problem I have is that my last two laptops died a few weeks over 3 years old so I wonder if there is any point.

I have got two Toshiba laptops (Tecra & Satellite ) - 100% satisfaction

I do not think service would refuse warranty repair, if the item did not have any damage that is a clear fault of user (e.g. water,cracks etc) ...

BTW ( :D ) , I have seen a lot of guys who treat their laptops like a cheap plastic toys and blame manufacturers for poor workmanship if it refuse to work properly...

I cracked the lid (but no damage to screen) on my 1st Toshiba in the 1st week & was so annoyed with myself that when I got the next laptop I treated it with kid gloves always careful when closing the lid, put it in it's Toshiba sleeve, NEVER put anything down on it, extremely careful when it was placed in either the Toshiba backpack or SwissGear backpack....trust me I couldn't have handled it any gentler but still the screen cracked.
