Toshiba G910
Windows Mobile 6 keyboarded smartphone with 800x480 screen.
Bluetooth, wifi, GPS and 128mb RAM.

I know that this did not get great reviews, but the bios update solved many of the issues and at this price its cheaper, and much more capable, then many of the non-phone wifi only internet pads doing the rounds at Maplin, HMV, Ropert Dyas etc. for £99-£170

Worth getting to play around with data in addition to your phone.

no, it is not sim-locked. It can take any chip

one thing to note, be careful of the T&Cs and DO NOT use any other voucher. It says that the cashback is only available if the receipt says £139+vat (which is the price). This implies they will not pay if you use any of the £5 vouchers doing the rounds. Just a warning!

Just bought one to replace my beloved dead TyTn. P.S. No other voucher codes will work anyway. Just hope they honour the cashback.

do you guys fill in your name in the company name box? or leave it blank?

reason is the following T&C made me a bit confused
Cheques will be made payable to the company name on the proof of purchase invoice
supplied only. Cheques cannot be made out to individuals except where the product has been
purchased for personal use and the claimant’s name appears as the recipient on the proof of
purchase invoice.

Can't see this being any problem,. Expansys is pretty big and reputable. I think they are just saying that if its purchased for yourself they will pay to your name, if purchased for a company they will only pay the cheque to the company name. no more, no less.

I used a voucher last time in the £20 cashback for the benq e72 and got my cheque no problems although i take your point, it is a risk.

you'll need someone to buy the second one for you if you want the cashback.

With all those terms and conditions I would not take the gamble, call them and ask.
#21
Colonel, when you fill in the form, did you leave the box for Company name as blank?

I'm guessing you are buying it for personal use.

Any one have any idea what the maximum size memory card you can put in this phone ....Will it take an 8 or 16 GB card ?

I can only see 2 GB on searches but if I look on ebay I can find people selling 8GB cards and saying they work in this phone.
Has any body got one of these phones with a fairly big card in .Seems it would be more use..I could stick some movies and stuff on

Anybody know what you get in the box?
#27
now...I ordered two..in my first order, in my name, i left the company name box empty so they emailed me an invoice without my name on it (just address). In my wife's order she put her name in the company box and she got an invoice with her name on it. Now according to their T&C the name should appear on the invoice for the cashback to be paid..I will be gutted if they use this as an excuse not to pay me
#28
OK,

Went to buy it tonight but see they have sort of expanded the deal as it now runs from 3/10 to Midnight 31/10 bit of a pain as it the 2/10 today. The clam form still states the original date 29/9 - Midnight 2/10.

So am waiting till they sort out the claim form.

Whats in the box here:

http://www.clove.co.uk/viewProduct.aspx?category=C62DF6CD-AFEA-4595-9DC6-E0C8930B4118&product=4542CC1F-AB18-437E-9F9B-2A882CCBFFD3

Could someone change the expire date
#29
When are people submitting their cashback claims? It says they won't process claims until after 14 days. Does this mean you have to post after 14 days or just that they won't look at the claim until 14 days?
#30
I sent my claim yesterday so just in case there is a problem with the post i will have enough time to send it again
