And your evidence is.............................?....

No evidence, just personal experience from owning a small number of laptops from a small number of manufacturers.
I don't recomment any. My aging Dell is still working fine. My two Toshibas both cracked hinges and overheated at different ages, and my E-Machines was a nighmare.
Times and reliability may change (hopefully for the better), but memories of bad experiences do not.
