POST EDITED AGAIN, NOW CONFIRMED CLASS 4.

This 16GB microSDHC card offers higher storage for more music, more videos, more pictures, more games more of everything you need in today’s mobile world. The microSDHC card allows you to maximize today’s revolutionary mobile devices. Toshiba's microSDHC cards use the new speed “class” rating of Class 4 that guarantee a minimum data transfer rate of 4MB/sec. for optimum performance with devices that use microSDHC.

Identical in physical size to today’s standard microSD card, the microSDHC cards are designed to comply with SD Specification Version 2.00 and are only recognized by microSDHC host devices. They can be used as full-size SDHC cards when used with an adapter (not included). To ensure compatibility, look for the microSDHC or SDHC logo on host devices (e.g. phones, PDAs, and cameras).

Wherever you find yourself in the mobile world, you can trust and rely on Toshiba's microSDHC cards.

Please note: You may receive a card that differs from the image shown: they may have no sticker and be 'bulk' packed (no horrible plastic packaging!) but they will come with a protective jewel case and are 100% Toshiba!

Features

Compliant with the SD Specification Version 2.00
Versatile when combined with an adapter (not supplied), can be used as a full-size SDHC card

better deal than:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/kingston-16gb-micro-sd-class-4-for-/773404

....and that one is over 300 degrees! Heat added.

Is this one not a class 2. I have just read through and it says " Toshiba's microSDHC cards use the new speed “class” rating of Class 2 "
Please correct me if im wrong as this will be a great deal if it is class 4
#3
Confused - picture shows class 4 card, wording says class 2 card....

I would go with the wording that this is a class 2 card

Looking at the Toshiba site they only produce class 4 in 16gb ?

OP, you needn't apologise for any "deception", you're just pointing us to a deal. Thx for the effort :)

I bought one of these16gb cards from 7dayShoplast last weekend expecting a class 2. When it turned up it is definitely marked on card as C4. Hence I believe it is a class 4.

Bought a 16GB Class 2 from play.com for the same price. All tests show it as a Class 4.

by 'all tests' do you mean a times transfer test which is based on averages? if so thats nothing to do with class really.
a card which writes at average (usually whats reported in speed tests) of 10mb/s but occasionally dips to 2mb/s isn't rated as class 10 but class 2.
what tests are people using to find the min transfer rates?

I bought a 16GB Dane-Elec Micro SD-HC card from 7dayshop during the week. It was described as Class 2 on the site. The card delivered is labelled Class 4.

Gordy1 NO one was accusing you of deception I am sorry if you felt this.

As others have stated you get sent a class 4 card I will vote this HOT (I didnt vote before as I wasnt sure).

I bought a "Toshiba" card from 7 day and an unbranded card arrived. When I complained they quoted some small print saying "picture may not reflect item etc.. " so I would go with the text. I wouldn't buy from them again personally.
#14
excellent deal if it turns out to be a class 4 card!
#15
Can anyone actually get on the site ive been trying for 2 days with no luck
#16
Meowmix and V2 thanks for the comments. I just did not want to mislead anyone. I saw the picture and thought this was a cracking deal for a class 4 card and posted it. Should have read on. Not a bad price for class 2 either though. Will see what turns up.:)

the class rating is actually important if you have a smartphone using an microSD. With future aplications running faster the read/write speeds will cause stuttering or corrupt data for video for example.
IMO dont buy large class2 cards unless you're ready to replace them soon thinking your phone was slow!
#18
The text appears to have changed indicating it IS Class 4:

"Toshiba Micro SD High Capacity (MICROSD-HC) Memory Card - 16GB - Class 4 Card Only - W/Case - GREAT PRICE!"
