Same, but with an i3 processor, I'll wait too. Or spend more money.

Decent price. We can expect to see the price of the 'standard configuration' basic atom cpu powered netbooks to drop further in the new year as retailers try to clear their shelves. The reasons being that dual core atoms are waiting in the wings and major competition from numerous new cheaper tablets. Interesting times ahead. Heat added.

You can get tiny bluetooth devices these days, that you could leave plugged in.

I have one nearly the same, but you could never leave this plugged in if your travelling around with the netbook as surely any bumps and knocks could cause damage

i've got one of those bluetooth dongles, doesn't work with linux fo shiz.

anyone got a deal on an asus eeepc 1005PE or 1005PE-P? i can only find about 260ukp on amazon, plus another 30ukp from ebuyer for 2gb ram.

the 1005PX are cheapish, but i want 11-14 hours battery life - as i assume you can knock a good 3 hours off the manufacturer's quote, i don't want to buy an average 6-9 hour netbook and get 3-6 hours in reality.

That's a fair price for a nice bit of kit so hot from me

Although I'm currently waiting for my Samsung NC10+ to be delivered for £179.99 all inc :)

Bestbuy when it was posted here a few weeks back

I did the reserve and collect but they messed up - as in they didn't do it!

They offered a few alternatives and after few emails from their complaints dept they're shipping out an NC10+ this week (hopefully!) £179.99 all inc :)

Has anybody manage to use the code for Collect in store?

One of my local stores wouldn't match the voucher code, but would give 20% off cases/bags bought at the same time, and reduce an Optic-branded USB DVDRW from £44.99 to £29.99.

Following my previous comment sayin the Acer Aspire one 521 would be a better buy, i have just installed a 2gb memory stick and i now get 57fps on medium settings playing Fear Perseus Mandate, setting up on HDMI running at 1024x768 i get 48FPS not bad for a Netbook.
