I beg to differ I got a 19" Toshiba for my girlfriend and we found that it had a great picture, black was black and if anything the remote was a little too sensitive

Awesome price, best TV deal for a while IMO

Got this TV, great price nice set for the bedroom, only 50hz so can get a little bit jerky on SD stuff but you hardly notice. Was/am really impressed with the blacks.

Fair enough, but you failed to have any complaints with the actual picture quality of the telly, bit weird to rate it down so much for menu's and remotes lol.

Cracking set for a great price, sure it's not perfect (viewing angle is slightly restricted) but the brand is fantastic and the price is fantastic too

IMO CNET's opinion on anything is pathetic. I say this based upon their review of a previous phone I had. It got 'editors choice' too, when it was really just very average and very buggy. And then rate down other better products.

got this tv in the bedroom , fantastic picture viewing through a sd sky box , can't comment to much on the built in freeview as we're in a crap signal area , the menu is a little slow compared to sky , but i have'nt had any probs with the remote being slow , for this price it'sgreat

I have this TV and love it. Using a PVR with it, so have no experience of the built-in Freeview. The picture quality on standard definition is excellent, although I must confess I haven't owned any other 32" LCDs to compare it with. Heavily tweakable if you don't like the default settings. Paid £320 for it about 11 months ago, so voted hot at this price.

You consider a viewing angle of178 degress 'slightly restricted'?
