Will have a look at reviews but seems a decent price. Anyone know if it is 100Hz? Might be a good alternative to the folk who missed out on the 37W5500 from Asda?

edit: just saw it is 100Hz!

& it's got 4 x hdmi ports

Hot from me, Reviews seem impressive and I'm quite tempted! Going to have a look at AV forums to see what is said on there too. My folks have a Toshiba and it's a decent set, only slight negative is the sound isn't great.

Good find :-)

Ive been eyeing this up for week or so now - and just went online and saw it had been reduced by over £30 so said sod it and just placed the order.

Came on here to post it and found this lol.

My only concern is you have to register within 7 days of the purchase/invoice date and need the serial number to register, so any delivery problems could cause an issue there, especially as I went for super saver deliver.

Edit - decided to take out a prime trial and upgrade it to a pre 1pm delivery on Tuesday - only £4.40

We ordered one yesterday, iv been eye balling this one up for a bit now. The percentage chhanged from 7% to 12% off on Saturday.
I put in the order straight away, called Amazon today and the guarantee me delivery by the 8th :):)

For the spec and comments about the tv..and the £100 cashback this is a cracking deal, dont know why the heat isn't as so good

£428 for a Toshiba 100HZ, 1080p Full HD tele, 37" is brilliant...check other sites, you won't be able to beat this for this tv

What does the "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L." S.a.r.l mean?

I think all goods sold by Amazon UK are sold contractually via EU SARL - the SARL is a French company, a bit like the "Ltd" in the a UK co.

As far as I know there's absolutely nothing to worry about - this isnt pixmania we're talking about .........

hot deal!! ordered one myself, thanks

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW THE AMAZON MASTERCARD WORK, IT STATES £15 will be credited to your Amazon.co.uk MasterCard

When you make your first purchase using the card a credit of £15 will be applied to your credit card, meaning if you buy something for £100 you will only have to pay back £85.

that is an incentive they have running for you to take out a credit card with them. They give you £15 back on your 1st purchase over £100 or something like that.

So you would take the word of one forum poster over the address posted on the terms and conditions? - any reason?

Just done some googling and the same person has a slightly more indepth thread here - http://www.avforums.com/forums/lcd-televisions/1086932-toshiba-lcd-100-cashback-offer-alert.html

Also if you google TN22 5UZ you get a list of other competitions using that postcode, you dont get the same with 6UZ.
#25
Does make sense, 5UZ shows a place with no main roads etc, while 6UZ is the address of an industrial estate...

Royal Mail don't recognise the published postal code.

Googling the only RM address premises as 5UZ is RMI - they specialise in coupon redemption.

Looks good to me - anyone got any Amazon voucher codes (I dont think they do Quidco)??

The stand that is advertised on the same Amazon page looks good value at £49.99 - anyone got one of these?

Have a similar one I purchased from Amazon. Quality is fine and looks amazing when clean !

So can anyone rectify which address to send the claim details for the cashback ?

Thanks

Very tempted. Seems like a great deal. I'm after a decent 37" TV, but still considering the new 37" HD ready Panasonic Plasma. Anyone out there reccommend this Tosh LCD over the Panny Plasma? In my head a Panny beats a Tosh, but interested to hear from people who have knowledge of both. Thanks.
#34
I like the look of this deal but am after a bigger screen. Presumably the 42" version is similarly good?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-42XV635DB-42-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B00221AZRS/

Anything I should be aware of if I go for this model? It's still got the £100 discout so works out at £549.

A good price - £251 cheaper than John Lewis!
#36
however john lewis give 5 yr warrantee and provide an excellent service. Also noone has proved they have received the cash back (yes i know, early days!)

With your consumer rights, the sale of goods act and the free 3 year warranty with this Tosh the John Lewis can whistle for my money :)
#39
I've got the older 37XV553DB 1080p model and the picture quality is excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Toshiba Regza in the future as they are always great value for money.
