I like this so much i may buy it H&R added
Probably the best deal available for around the 500 mark
I considered this set last weekend - when on offer in Sainsbury's Sprucefield at £499.
For what it's worth - this TV gets a very poor review by Which magazine.

Thats strange... every online review I've read states that it gives one of the best Standard definition pictures out there? It states tehre can be slight ghosting on High Def sources though.

good, find looks like war just started.
529.99 now at amazon. maybe worth altering the OP. every fiver counts!
Can't believe the prices of these nowadays...... I paid £1200 for my CRT Philips 7yrs ago and that was a bargain price (was £1600 everywhere else!!). Problem is that I'm miffed to replace it until it breaks and its still going strong!!!
hard to resist this one, ordered one today and now im looking for a decent sound setup to go with it:thinking:
Seems a very good deal, voted hot! At first I was going to question whether this was 1080p, but it seems that the new AV series are all 1080p as standard.

I have a 37" Tosh from the now old XV series and it is an excellent TV, the only downside being the built-in freeview is pretty poor. With my xbox and PC hooked up to it though it's great for both.

Maybe the new AV/XV series of Toshiba TVs have better freeview though, as they now have on-board Dolby sound processing.

The only downside to this is that the design looks a fair bit less stylish somehow than the old model, especially the remote control.
Even though it's £70 more at John Lewis, probably worth that amount for the 5 year guarantee. Although the TV hasn't been in stock for about 2 weeks now...

Don't forget TopCashBack with Laskys :)
Don't suppose any one knows where I can get this TV in 37" for a reasonable price???
expire - this is now £609 from a amazon partner - not amazon now.

Cheers, have expired. Was a great deal, TV sits nice in my living room :-) Next step... a better A/V receiver and blu ray player!
