Thanks for this. Think I got one of the few available. Now I just hope it actually exists! I'd add more heat if I could!

Thanks again sairdy! TV arrived now and all is good. It even included a pair of 3D glasses which I didn't expect. Keep the deals coming!

    mine arrived too.
picture was perfect but freeview hd suffered sub-second picture blackouts, also I couldn't get it to downmix he-aac sound into dolby digital 5.1 out of the optical, only pcm stereo.

went to toshiba.com and downloaded the latest firmware to a usb stick, put it in the tv and it was a simple upgrade.

dolby sound solved, there's an AV connection menu that defaults to PCM, just flipped it to Auto, now have gut punching 5.1 again
freeview hd picture dropout also solved.

but now on black screens, and dark scenes I can see 4 or 5 blotches of brightness, that I'm sure weren't there before. a bit of a shame but my last tv had far greater problems.

watching youtube 3d side-by-side videos was a novelty for 30 mins. I'm no 3d convert yet.

power use on hollywood settings is 80-90watts- very low..
but in standby it is 30w - that's far too high - that's why it has an on/off switch I guess. will get lots of use.

still yet to test satellite. but for 700 smackers. I'm really happy.

    thanks sairdy
