Surely the newer (and not discontinued) 32AV615DB is a better deal at £10 more?

http://www.dixons.co.uk/product.php?sku=888258

Spec and details here http://www.home-entertainment.toshiba.co.uk/Regza-LCD-TV/30-39-LCD-TV-screen-size/32-Regza-AV61-Series/?showBy=size

Compare that to the discontinued 32C (this thread) http://www.home-entertainment.toshiba.co.uk/Regza-LCD-TV/30-39-LCD-TV-screen-size/32-Regza-LCD-TV-C-Series-Discontinued/ (although not exactly the same part number).

Indeed, how confusing...sorry about that.. I stopped buying at Play after their well documented credit card problems, I hadn't seen Play Trade before.

Is this the start of something new, Play.com have joined the others selling second-hand tat? :-(

Hang on, no, the original cheaper item isn't "refurb" it's the Playtrade item that is posted below, and it costs MORE! :?

At first I thought it was the one without any scart connections But then I noticed it has them...very nice deal...looks like a great TV - heat added :]

A word of warning, Hitachi have pulled out of the LCD market (which is why this has gone so cheap) so I'd personally be a little weary with the manufacturers warranty...in-case they are about to go under or something...

Just wondering what Hitachi pulling out of the market has to do with this TOSHIBA??

Looks a hot deal to me, however I bought the 615 a couple of weeks ago from Amazon for £298. Very happy with that purchse, great picture etc. Last 3 tv's I've bought have all been Toshiba and have never had a problem with any of them.

i have a 42inch Xseries and a 47inch Zseries but berfore i choose the Zseries i had 2 faulty TV.'s from dixons and one was the 42inch of the Cseries it went back for dead pixels after hours. In the end i paid the extra £200 for the 42 Xseries which is the 1080p screen it use to be in my living room and was that impressed with it i got the newer Z which i have in the lounge and thats still great on standard def and hi-def.
