Damn, they are all at it now -- loads of bargain 1080p tellies to be had at the moment. Looks like Sainsburys have started a price-war

Great news!!

Its the same price at amazon
I would buy from amazon as they have better customer service than play.

I would defo use Amazon rather than Play. Sending electrical stuff back to Play is a nightmare.

This or the XV version with 100hz would be my number one choice for cheapy 37"ers with the only real issue for me being that its not terribly sharp with full hd sources but most say the res+ thingy takes care of that. Just have to try one out to see for myself.

I have this TV. It's a nice set. I've not tried it with hi-def tv, but standard definition is very nice. I've tried a PS3 and the game mode is impressive and detail is lovely.

I've not noticed any motion blur on Sports yet either. And I have my PC plugged into the back of it via HDMI which looks great for general PC games in 1080p and DIVX movies... The resolution + feature is a nice touch, makes DVDs look mighty fine, although text and sharp lines can be fuzzy with res +.

Having said that, if I were to get one now for a similar price I might be inclined to get the Sony 100hz that some Sainsburys stores are doing for £399, Or indeed the Toshiba XV (100hz) was recently selling for £449.99.

But, I must say i'm very happy with this TV for a year or two at least.

Oh, one last thing... The picture settings that come pre-set on this tv are absolute toilet water, so need a tweak or two here and there. The back-light is set way too high.. Although the normal set-up and tuning is very user friendly.
