This is a very good tv, it has Freeview HD built-in, so you get ITVHD, BBCHD, Channel4HD all built-in and BBC1HD is launching by christmas all you need is an aerial :)

The stand swivels around 20 degrees btw which is handy.

P.S the usb port definately plays .jpg photos, it doesn't play back .avi, .mkv, .vob, .mp3, .bmp, .CR2 (canon raw), i've just tried.
Firmware updates can be checked for via ethernet cable, an optional toshiba certified usb wireless stick or via the tv aerial (takes a long time).
