£30 more expensive than it was recently at eBuyer, plus there are offers for a few quid more where you get a free laptop bag and anti-virus software. Probably why this deal has gone cold.

I quite liked the look of this when it came up on ebuyer and am still quite interested - esp with 2GB RAM. However, lots of people on here seem to really rate Dell and I am still keeping an eye out for a good Dell deal. But why does everyone like Dell so much? :?

Dell make a good range of equipment at reasonable prices. However, sometimes deals come up for Dell that make a particular item an absolute steal. This gets everyone excited and the old credit cards take a hammering from enthusiastic bargain hunters.

I've had a number of Dell pcs over the years and they've always been reliable and offer good value for money. My latest XPS 420 was a top deal from the outlet store.

Quad core processor, 4 gb ram, 500gb hard drive, top graphics card, Vista premium and all packaged in a very sleek case - £450 delivered. I was well chuffed. I stuck in a BD/HD-DVD ROM drive from Ebuyer for less than £80 and I'm set to go for a few years with that:thumbsup:

BT.shop is Dabs and therfore a no-go area. AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you have problems you are talking to a web site. No Humans in site. I have to go to the Small Claims Court to get my money back from these gansters. Be warned.
