I bought one of these in the sales for less, but it only had 2gb RAM (added another 2gb). It is a nice machine, but the plastics feel cheap and attract fingerprints easily. During the first few days you'll be plagued by Toshiba updates, some a bit confusing. I'm happy with it and find it is really fast.

Nice to find a constructive comment for a change.

Laptop seems a decent buy at the price - heat added.

Seems popular 51 sold already.

Seems like a very well balanced laptop for the price. Hot.

A friend got one of these for Christmas. He had issues with the wireless connection dropping every few minutes.

If you buy one and have this issue, get the latest wireless driver (the one detailed on the realtek website, not the out of date one on the Toshiba website) and it works fine :)

Can anyone confirm that weight? 2.3Kg for 15.6" laptop is quite astonishing

It's good weight for 15.6" laptop. Usually they are in the range of 2.2 - 2.7

CPU is on low end for AMD, but it's fairly new and @ 25W. Pretty good battery life too. Very nice entry level laptop - good value for money.

I have never seen any 15.6" laptops weigh just 2.3kg. Usually you have to go for either 13" or 14" sized laptop. Toshiba machines are usually thick and chunky.

The new driver was put on the Toshiba site on 1st Jan. The Toshiba software should instruct you to install the new one.
