its like the difference between homebase and argos but in this case one is based in france the other in the uk which has retails outlets.

why is this being voted so cold? the other one on hotukdeals is the a660-11m and the only difference is the graphics cars one is the 330 and the other is 310 (this one) and its like £30 cheaper..but the other one at £750 is currently 29degrees !?

on a laptop in the pricerange the upgrade from a geforce 310 to 330 is worth well over 30quid as changes the whole machine from unbalanced to pretty good.
also.. this is from pixmania who have a poor reputation so any deal from them is poorly received.

right i agree with the graphics card thing but a deal is a deal. if they offered a i7 for £400 on pixmania it would be a deal.. u shudnt say something is not a deal just because of where it is sold necessarily...look at dell ... hello! india call center....some of the best laptops around!

its not the fact that they are based in france
when you make a purchase, customer service is part of the package.
just because dell has or doesn't have indian call centres doesn't mean anything if their service is good.
pixmania seem to be universally hated - think i tried them once in the past and they failed miserably to deliver leading eventually to cancellation but the hassle factor and the unbalanced nature of this system is an instant 'bleh' to me.
sometimes service is worth a little extra, especially on a big purchase.
