Not a bad deal, but I personally don't think the build quality of Toshs are all that great. Id rather go for a Dell/HP or Acer.

You can find a similar Vista lappy with dedicated graphics for around the same price. Not bad though.

Yup! Ive bought around 20 or 30 laptops in the last 2 months and i've been really impressed with the Acers! I wasn't too fond of them a year back but I think they are making quality machines these days (considering the price). Toshiba were considered a really good quality laptop manufacturer but I just personally haven't liked them all that much recently.

Up to yoooouuu either way. Its personal preference.

Yeah, they may look nice, but I have scrapped over 20 this year, they suffer from power failure, which is a fault on the motherboard, I woud'nt buy an acer if I wanted a laptop to last me more than 18 months....

I'd say this was hot.

PLAY are doing it for the same price (so a tiny bit of Quidco),

http://www.play.com/Search.aspx?searchtype=PCSH&searchstring=Toshiba+Satellite+L450D-11V&page=search&pa=search&go.x=0&go.y=0

but most others are selling for around £450
