This is a cracking deal.
Witha PC and a netbook and the
wife's older laptop I am afraid
I cannot justify buying one.
I wish I could though.
Heat added.

Yep, 2.94 kg for a 15.6" laptop isn't that light.
#13
shared memory means totally crap for games
just keep that in mind incase your hoping to play any games
#14
#15
Can the 2gb memory be upgraded without voiding the warranty?
#16
Yeah warrantys can't be voided by upgrading RAM, thats a feature of the laptop that its upgradeable, you're meant to be able to do that!
#17
Damn.I got the Argos one for same price but 1 yr warranty and more poorer service than JL. :-(
#18
Hi,
here is the link to get Toshiba extended warranties 3yrs for £51.00 inc vat. That should help those that have purchased from Argos.

You should add in "i3" in the OP, this laptop is around 4 times faster than a 2.13ghz pentium M!! :P

send it back under 14 day money back yah yah.

seriously Argos should be your LAST point of call for anything. I got the cheap summer tent with sleeping bags and using it right now. really rock bottom priced stuff that sold separately would cost more.

Was just about to choose between these two laptops for my daughter to use at Uni:

[INDENT]for £370 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/186603
AMD Athlon Dual Core M320 2.1GHz 1MB Cache
4GB RAM
320GB HDD
15.6" HD TFT
ATI Mobiility Radeon HD4200
Webcam + Bluetooth, HDMI
Windows 7 Home Premium

or for £299 http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5083046/Trail/searchtext%3ELAPTOP+CLEARANCE.htm
Intel Celeron dual core T3100.
1.9GHz processor speed.

Depends on what she wants to use it for - what type of work?
#27
Thanks for the reply Hoochey, went for the £299 one in the end as only needs it for M'soft Office and surfing the internet.

This can be unexpired now
