not sure why this has not got more heat i think its a brilliant buy and was thinking of getting one earlier but "she who must be obeyed " not in the best mood so will have to wait until tomorrow .LOL
I checked out the warranty as i think they are good value mike t may disagree
you can add 2 more yrs warranty for approx £55 from toshiba or another 4 yrs international warranty for only £95 approx
Yes it does seem very good value, I put it up hoping to see other peoples opinions but not a lot of interest so far! Put in another GB of RAM and this is a pretty decent laptop on the right side of £300.
I think you'll find that the[COLOR="Red"][SIZE="2"] processor speed[/SIZE][/COLOR] is what puts folks off. These days 1.6Ghz even coreduo is considered pretty basic.
Speeds first thing people look out for without necessarily considering L2 , FSB etc
.. I may be wrong though!!
I've got one of these laptops, its well made, run like a dream and should last a few years. I'm only running Window xp and would recommend upgrading the ram if you intend to use vista. Hope this helps. Cheers blinder:)
