Hey guys,I have one these little beauties and its a cracking upscaling player, especially for this kind of cash.Easy to make multiregion as well :

Enter 9879 then 0 on the handset (zero is for region zero/multi region)
A message appears on on your screen saying that the region number has been changed to region 0.
Close the tray.
Turn the player off and then back on again.

There you have it one very cheap and decent multiregion DVD player.

Hope this helps :)

Here you go guys, here's a pic of mine (probably should have dusted it first though !) :

It really is a cracking little player for the money.I have it hooked up an LG LCD panel in my spare room.Set upscaling to 720P (seems to be the best setting on my panel, perhaps it is because its closer to the native resolution of DVD than 1080P ?) and its hard to believe you are watching playback from a player this cheap !.I have an Oppo player hooked up to my Plasma in my living room, that is a different beast but I paid nearly ten times as much for that !.For this kind of money you really won't get anything any better than this.

Good F&R pics here:- http://www.richersounds.com/product/dvd-players/toshiba/sd390/tosh-sd390#
£49.95 at Richer Sounds. Probably price match if that is nearer for you.

Been to both the Hartlepool and Stockton stores this evening and this model is on the shelf at £44.97. The SD190 is £26.97 so could be a possible misprice.
