There's a remastered version of this coming out in June which is no doubt why this is cheap as they want to get rid of this version before the remastered better picture quality one arrives. Voted hot by the way.
I took this from a fourm:

Well after reading comments about total recall having a better version in the UK i said screw it and ordered it, thinking i might be slightly happier with it then my U.S. edition. Man.... i expected only a slightly better look in a "few" scenes or something lol, maybe a LITTLE more cleaned up but WOW

Received this today, and could not believe how much better it looked. Far from perfect to be sure, but night and day better then the U.S. version imo. Glad i imported it as it is my second favorite arnold movie. It actually looks great compared to any dvd or blu version i have ever seen. Makes me wonder how many other transfers or whatever the difference is.... are floating around one country while others get a shafted crappy version.

Thanks for voting, my first post here :)
always remembr the bit with the 3 breasted woman

im gonna get my gf to have surgery!!!
Same price at HMV - sorry.
My favourite movie of all time, voted schorchio !!!
It was the same with DVDs, it took them a few years to work out how to make nice compression on the video and the early titles looked a bit rubbish, and even after that the picture quality slowly improved over time as the studios learnt how to ring every bit of quality out of the bitrates. expect bluerays to look better in 5 years than they do at the moment.
Bennnyyyyyyyy.....Screwwwww youuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
My favourite movie of all time, voted schorchio !!!

Me too, but I watched it again recently and couldn't help feel bad about how dated it looks now.
I think it still looks good, but you can see that all the screens are disguised beefy CRT televisions. Now Conan the Barbarian, that's timeless!
2 weeeeekkkksss
I paid too much tax....

Good price, but Blu ray itself isnt perfect. Heat added regardless because the film is awesome.
So is this a good quality version or not? Should I wait until June?
I've got five kids to feed!
See you at the party Richter!
"You make me wish I had three hands" :-D
"Consider this a divorce" - classic film

Being re-released on 14th June - not much info out there as to why
Apparently more extras on the version out on June, not sure what or if its a better transfer, so "Get ready for a surpise!"
"Get ready for a surpise!"
