Can someone edit the above link to remove the customer id to protect the posters privacy.
When you chose to buy through the link, its coming up with the posters account, his a postal address in Shawclough, Rochdale and we can all view his account details etc.

I ordered twice from these guys and both times I received a (slightly) used item. Even though the item was in excellent condition, when I buy a new item I expect to receive a brand new item (unopened) and not used.
Lesson learned: I won't buy from The Game Collection anymore, no matter how cheap they are!

Total War Eras is now available for £9.99 from DVD.co.uk. I've just ordered it from them as I decided not to trust TheGameCollection.net after reading about the experiences you guys had.

I think paying £1 extra for the hope of receiving one in a decent condition is worth it.

[*WARNING - SHAMELESS PLUG FOLLOWS:]
I did, however, just order Worms 4 Mayhem from TheGamesCollection for £2.49. I reckon TGC.net are generally trustworthy enough; the Doom 3 expansion I bought from them for £1.50 arrived in perfect condition. My guess is they just managed to get hold of a load of cast-off stock of damaged Total War Eras packs for cheap and thought nothing of flogging them off to us.

I once got a scratched DVD with a broken case from Play.com. It didnt stop me buying from them in future, so long as they had the cheapest price on whatever I was after. If any other retailer equals their price, I buy from that retailer. Guess I'll do the same with TheGamesCollection.

If you buy these you will find that the outer casing is tatty and its also the American version, not big problems but not great if its for a present.

They're dodgy? That explains why they sent me a used budget version of MGS on the Gamecube. They haven't got back to me about it....
