This is scheduled to be released in 2017 but the exact date is TBA. However Amazon does not take money, you are just securing the order at this price for yourself. :) If you don't have prime next cheapest at the moment (Base I am looking at you!) is Shopto. They don't take money till despatch as well. So no harm is done either way.

Play through the eyes of Renee, a 16-year-old girl who suffers from the symptoms of mental illness. She is searching for answers to the many questions from her past, whilst exploring the place where she spent most of her youth. Guide Renee through a dark and emotional journey where the lines between entertainment, storytelling and reality blur. Based on extensive research and inspired by real events, The Town of Light is a first-person psychological story adventure game set in the Volterra Psychiatric Asylum. Based in Tuscany, Italy, the asylum was shut down in the late 1970's by a law from the Italian government instructing all asylums to close and give back patients their civil rights. Explore the asylum as it stands to this day and uncover the good and bad in human nature.

Played a demo of this at EGX Rezzed last month. Bored me to tears. You're basically wandering (very slowly) around an old abandoned asylum/orphanage trying to piece together your past. There's so little going on though it's much more of a chore than most walking simulators. Average graphics at best, spartan sound design, drab environments. Zzzzzz

I did enjoy playing N.E.R.O and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture myself. These type of games are story based mainly and less rely on gameplay. I think it very much depends on your taste. I don't think £12.99 is a bad price for this. I will personally give this a go myself. (NERO was emotionally a strong and touching game)

I think it's the story that will make or break it, I found Everybody's Gone To the Rapture, Firewatch and Dear Esther to have really good stories that kept me engaged whereas Kholat for example just fell flat.

Oh absolutely. I loved Gone Home, Virginia, SOMA, Journey, Abzu (all very much story driven) and thought Firewatch was interesting (though with little payoff and a really disappointing ending). Just the 30mins or so I played of this found it super boring. Granted it's only a demo, but you'd think they'd put the most engaging part on show! Nevertheless, this is a decent price.

Wow you are clearly a fan of these type of games. Have you also played NERO? That was a game crushed with reviews but personally saying if I didn't try it I would have never known how touching it is (based on reviews). I guess at the end of the day it all comes back to personal tastes. I don't know many people who have actually enjoyed a game like NERO tbh. :)

I'd be in for that, my other half saw me playing Dear Esther asked what it was about and what you do, after I told her she just called me sad lol

Haha, I know that feeling all too well.

Jesus, I bought Summer Lesson for PSVR to see what it was like after all the talk I've seen of it and you should've seen the look I got for that one. It was the usual, 'So, eh... What's the point?' but on steroids mixed with trying to decide if it's meant to be a pervy game or not.

Oh Wow! That game is actually in my list! That may be my only reason for a PS VR, haha. I am a perv. :p (Joking, wife would slice my head off is she sees me playing it... :| )

Can't forget reason #2 of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3! :P

Also, it's great how you can switch the TV off and still use the VR. nudge, nudge, wink, wink

Summer Lesson has no pervy bits at all from what I've seen so far though.

Ooooooo oO I didn't know you can turn the TV off whilst playing! I feel I've wasted half of my life.... time to look for a deal! Where did you get the game from? eBay or play Asia?
