Nearly bought one of these from the Disney Shop for £50 on the weekend
#9
Just ordered one for my Toy Story mad 2 yr old. Might be a bit young but daddy can play with it until he's old enough!

The wife will go mad though, as there's an old Buzz in the loft somewhere that she wanted to give him for Christmas.

Was gutted when this went back up to £45! Just ordered one for my nephew now! Thanks very much!

this toy is great ordered it last week from amazon at £30 so have emailed to ask for my £5 refund :)
Gutted just found out amazon dont do the refund for changing there price anymore :(
#14
I bought one of the very first ones (for my son, ahem) the week after Toy Story first came out, before they became one of those items that utterly vanishes from the shelves four weeks before Christmas. On that model the wings popped out, but his armour didn't glow in the dark and he didn't come in the proper cardboard spaceship... I felt a bit cheated. This looks great... my son is now fifteen years old... do you think he'll want this one for Christmas? I suppose if he doesn't, I might have to look after it... :whistling:

They wont refund it but they will let you return it and there is about £4 postage involved

I asked the question when i purchased it for £38  and it dropped to £29.99 so wasnt really worth the hastle, might be now though :)
#18

I'm not sure about that as my sister bought a wii a few weeks ago and without any hassle managed to get the price difference back when there was a reduction.

Thanks OP just about to order.

The head is animated through the batteries unlike the cheaper ones when you turned it by hand.

See everything it does here.

After doing some reaserch it seem that only the first few 'Andy's Toy Collection' Buzz Lightyears' have the head movement action. It seem's like it has been removed from more recent versions.

I got my Buzz a few weeks ago when it was £35, and I had watched that YouTube video review beforehand, and was a bit puzzled why the head was not moving. Not a men tion about it on the box or in the instruction manual, so if you've got one with head movement it could be a pretty rare one.

nooooooooooooooooooo... thats sooo wrong!!!

The one I tried at toys r us at the weekend certainly had automatic head movement.

According to the comments on the Amazon review, the head moves when the blue and green buttons are pressed.
his red button is his 'toy' mode and so he'll be inanimate - as a toy with no personality and life of its own
the other modes will animate his head, as if he's got his own free will, thats perfectly normal!

will i......won't i........will i......won't i.......

How can you tell how many are left?
#33
this is now back at 49.99. am presuming it is sold out :(
#34
Thats so strange - I added one to my basket, then closed down the tab remembering I had to do something, then when I came back the price had gone to £49.99!!!!! So I signed in again and checked my basket and there was buzz there at £24.94 - so being able to buy the last one just made me do it!!! Hope he's not going to get forgotten like so many other poor toys!
#35
Wife ordered one for the boy. He already has the first one but this one will suit me, ahem, him much better.
#36
Ordered yesterday, recieved this morning, dont think I can wait till christmas for my little girl to open.
#37
I hope it has head movement. I might email the manufacturer to confirm that later models don't have this function.
#38
Has anyone opened theirs yet?
#39
Has anyone received one from Amazon where the head moves?
#40
Mine didn't have moving head action, so i swapped it for one that did at toys r us
