Surely this is pound shop stuff... what am I missing here? O_o

Aside from a toy story logo I'm not sure how these differ from the cheap plastic soldiers I got as a kid, as said above available in most pound shops. Its the same with mostof the Toy Story merchandise, they're generally based on real toys that are readily available - slinky dog, mr potato head, etc.

yep, toys r us sell these for silly money but they also sell 99p packets of soldiers which are the same if not better quality. you're paying for the label on the plastic container.

Buy a big carton of popcorn from the cinema, clean it out after you've finished the food, fill with £1 shop soldiers ;-)

That's dire value for money.

Just for the record, we have these and the cheap ones, and the Toy Story ones are so so so much better..well worth the money and more I would say £12 in M&S and now sold out !!!

My son is totally army mad and I bought him a tub of these last Christmas and I was planning on buying him some more this year as they really are quality stuff and well worth the extra money. The poundshop versions break in seconds whereas these have last 12months and are still going strong. Many Thanks to the OP

What a load of twaddle. You make it sound like they just fall to pieces. Never in my life have I seen a plastic army man break as a result of normal playing... aren't they usually made out of bendy plastic? =/

Having just binned a large amount of cheapo plastic soldiers with legs and arms missing I can assure you that they are not made from bendable plastic but are made from brittle plastic that is easily snapped and my five year old takes great care of his toys but these break so easily that he cant help snapping them. The more expensive Toy Story soldiers are made of better quality plastic and after twelve months we havent had a single casualty

What a rip off - used to get these by the 100 for a few quid. Bung the Toy Story name on and boom - knock the price up massively...

These are the Toy Story Collection set. They come in the box they had in the films. Same with the other Toy Story Collection toys. The main hint is in the name. They're for collectors

No, they're for kids. Or sad geeks.
