Prices have been upped in the offer though....
#2
Wall-E has went from £9.99 to £18.99 and that's the one disk edition. the blu+dvd is still £9.99

Basically the only real saving in that offer is Toy Story 1 & 2
#3
Anyone know when will Play be updating their site?
[mod]#4
An Amazon BOGOF Disney was posted a while back HERE
However as this one is especially a cracker and a good heads up reminder to the original thread (as the prices are a bit wonky in that one also) I think it's fair to have this thread also

Yep all the rest prices raised, what a load of tosh. Even stayed up for an extra hour to look at them, and it was crap. Didn't order anything.

I was hoping for the old Amazon style of adding them to a bogof, leaving the prices for a few hours then raising them, therefore getting some bargains in the process. Annoyingly they were pretty on the ball for this one!

hot !

Wall-E was £10.99 up by £7
G-Force was £16.99 up by £1
Bolt was £10.99 up by £7
Snow white was £16.85 up by £1.14
toy story 1/2 up by £1

only not much of a saving if you went for Bolt and wall-e, most else only up by £1, so hot deal.

Brilliant, toy story 1 + 2 blu-ray combi's, £15.29 with my discount.

Thanks OP.

Will get Toy Story 1 & 2 which are good value for £8.50 each, everything else is a rip-off with the inflated prices.

I don't know how they get away from it, or are a lot of people really so gullible as to believe they're actually getting a film for free? Presumably it's Disney doing the ripping off not just the retailer, as the inflated prices are around the same at all of the retailers doing the "offer".
#22
Can't Believe all the prices have gone up!

I was waiting to get Jungle Book and Aladdin on DVD which where £9 and £8 respectively. Only to find out that Aladdin had gone up to £14! Interesting to see that Jungle Book stayed the same price.

I brought Anyway as it works out £7 for each but it wasnt the massive saving I was hoping for :-(

Cheapest I can get those eight from The Hut (with my 7.5% More Than discount) is £60.68. With Play.com, you can also use the £5 off £50 spend voucher, which brings it down to £62.96. With a possible 4% Quidco that would then come down to £60.44, which still leaves The Hut fractionally cheaper for me (as Quidco isn't guaranteed).

Play is definitely the way to go if you're not a More Than customer though

Brilliant, bought mine thanks :)

It's nothing like price fixing!

It's just a publisher offering stores a promotion with new dealer prices. Everybody involved in retail does it and has done for decades.

It's a few pounds saving with the perception of more - simple marketing. It's still a saving on the old prices, maybe not as much as some people had hoped for but that's life.

Ordered Toy Story 1 and 2 for £8.50 each which for Blu-ray/DVD sets is an absolute bargain.

Heat and rep added.

brilliant. Thankyou.
decided to wait and not buy the blurays for Toys Story 1&2 on release as I had a feeling they would be part of a deal, but not this quickly. Excellent

ordered toy story 1 and 2 from amazon.

also wanted to order sleeping beauty and snow white but thought the prices were pretty bad so held off earlier. just bit the bullet at £16.99 from play (£19.99 and £17.99 respectively from amazon).

worth shopping around a bit if you have a preference.

cheers to the op

Added the two Toy Story blus to the basket on amazon, prices both dropped to £12.00, and then the BOGOF came in, scorcher.
