good price. can we read its reviews anywhere??
#2
In my experience, very grippy tyres, particularly in the wet, but they can wear very quickly due to them being a soft compound. Very good price though, and I would certainly consider them if they were the right size for me.

Camskill are also spot on.

Keep in mind tyres have a shelf life as the rubber will eventually go hard and off.

I run Toyo Proxes T1R on my Elise, partially because I use it in all weathers, but also because they are pretty cheap.

Decent enough tyre in the dry, and god in the wet. Also, those commenting on them being soft, and wearing quickly should try some R rated tyres such as the Toyo R888. I use the T1R because it lasts LONGER ;)

Excellent tyre, both in the wet and the dry. I put some of these on my Impreza having worn through a set of Goodyear Eagle F1s in no time at all. The Toyos performed better in the wet and lasted much longer. I since put them on my Leon and was just as impressed.

A proper affordable performance tyre.
#12
I have T1R's on my current car too (and the previous one) - they are an excellent choice, very grippy, and as others have said very good in the wet. I had Bridgestones on previously and the Toyos feel far superior.

Serves you right for being such a @%^**$! and feeling the need to tell the world about it (just kidding, honest).

I've used these tyres and that is an amazing price. These tyres are great! Especially in the wet... never felt a more confident tyre
#15
To be fair all tyres at 195/50/R15 seem to be very cheap, but this is a good deal. I considered changing to 195/50/R15 from 195/55/R15 all round, but going to go and just change the two tyres that need changing instead. Was very tempted though :D
#16
good price but always worth checking out Tyretraders.com - £1.40 more expensive for 4 delivered but this is not a special offer price. I've used them a few times and can recommend.
#17
now if these had been 45 profiles then it woulda been scorchio!!
#18
Damn this offer is hot. I only just had 2 of these put on my car 2 weeks ago. 195/45 R16's though. Paid £140 all in.
#19
The blokes at my local car garage reckon these are good for Subaru Imprezza's, probably not in this size though.

Kumho KU31's are a good mid range tyre at a bargain price most places.
#20
Isnt really that great a deal. you can get them on ebay cheaper from my usual supplier and there is another supplier on there 2 cheaper. so really not that great. i hate knocking deals, it is a good deal deal but still its cheaper elsewhere and quidco to on ebay. ( for all it is )
#21
Good price. I wonder how much fitting and balancing would be, though.

I've currently got these on my car and I'm considering whether I should buy a couple now, although there's plenty of wear left on them.
#22
I buy my tyres from camskill and they have always been great with price and delivery, I then get them fitted at my local independent tyre fitter and they have charged between £10-£14 a tyre to fit. I spent ages looking for a better deal but I just could not find one. I recommend Camskill 100%.
#23
i wonder if these come with jam in the middle?? (local boys will know what im on about ;) )
good price tyre but typically not in my cars size, more than double for that :(
#24
£77.90 a corner for the size I need. Paid less locally to have a set fitted. Not bad tyres, I'll be taking them on a track on a couple of weeks, I can comment then on how hard wearing they are!

I've got KU31s on my family car, I don't rate them as much as the Proxes.

I've had the opposite experience, found Toyos to last far longer than any other brand I've had (Dunlop, Michelin, Yokohamas) and they are always cheap too.
Currently got some Khumo's which have so far way outlasted the brand new Pirelli P Zero's that were on my car when I bought it.
#27
Not one bad word so far about performance in the wet...I've heard them slated for their wet performance.

I've had them on a few cars over the years and agree with the dry performance but would say they are average in the wet compared to some others, mind I wouldn't slate them like some do.

Pricewise they are a good all rounder, as for wear I found the wear was quite good, guess can also depend on how you drive

Really? I've found them to have 95% of the grip but last twice as long.

How are TOYO CF1 TOYO CF 1 ?? cann't seem to find PROXES for correct size...

Not sure where you get your runflats from, but I only pay £105 each (fitted) for Continental Run Flats for my 320d. Even from a BMW dealer, they are only £125 fitted.

That sounds about right.

Toyo's on CamSkill in my size for bmw is £95.80 each excluding postage. Still a decent price for a reputable tyre brand!

I've got some of these babys myself and they're the best tyres i've ever used

The car feels even smoother just turning. These just stick to the road like glue and I can drive in the wet like i normally do in the dry and the hold the road just as well

Fantastic buy, an absolute steal if your alloys are this size. These usually cost a lot more (usually double) I can also rate the seller, this is the place I bought my TR1s from, they were very quick to deliver

I need 245 40 18, so expensive..........................
#38
bought 4 toyo proxes 215 45 17" 6 months ago 80 quid each..... 3 popped, but thats caus of all the frickin nails around london in particular stratford

2 are now punctured repairs and 1 got replaced by manufacture warranty

never ever again spend money on decent tyres if you live in the city with pot holes/nails/road works/chavs

waste of time and money

Also another believer here in T1R's. Have tried all the major brands on my Impreza and these IMO, have been the best so far. Performance in the wet and dry is very good and I've also found them to last a long time compared to other tyres!
