Great for expanding a network without wireless or more reliably and faster than wireless

Establishing a powerline network requires at least two PLC adapters for the first time, the TP-LINK Powerline Ethernet Adapter Starter Kit is good for initially setup which including two same adapters -TL-PA201. It takes advantage of your home´s existing electrical wiring to create or extend a network. With no additional wiring required, users can simply plug the TL-PA201 into existing power sockets and establish networking infrastructure in a flash. With data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps, you can expand your current home power lines network and experience blinding transfer speeds. Now, enjoy HD video streaming, online gaming, VoIP or any other high bandwidth intensive tasks such as multiple downloads available in minutes instead of hours.

Up to 200Mbps, Ideal for High Definition Video Streaming
With advanced HomePlug AV technology, TL-PA201 provides users with stable and high-speed data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps. TL-PA201 features an easy-to-use interface for configuring Quality of Service options, supports multiple streams of HD video as well as popular Voice over IP (VoIP) throughout the home or office.

Twin Pack Design
The PLC connection is transmitting the data through the electric wire between two outlets, so it at least requires two PLC adapters pluged into the outlet to transform the data streaming. With twin pack design, the starter kit ensures to establish a powerline network for the first time.

NO New Wires, Just Plug And Play
No configuration required, just connect your PC to a powerline adapter and plug it into a power outlet and instantly transform your household power grid into a fully functional network, with no need to drill through the walls and climb through the attic or cellar to install network cables. Messy cabling and wireless dead spots are now things of the past.

Green Product with Lower Power Consumption
The TL-PA201, a new-generation Powerline Adapter, consumes less power when compared with existing Powerline Ethernet Adapters. Moreover, when there is no Ethernet link, it will automatically switch from its regular "working" power mode to standby mode that reduces energy waste by over 65%* when compared to adapters without this feature.

Pair Button for Easy Network Security
Simply push the Pair button on the adapters and then you can set up a hassle-free Powerline network within minutes, which features 128-bit AES encryption for network security and data protection.

*Actual data will vary because of the network conditions and environment factors

nope, yet again I'm going to give your advice a miss.

If you'd taken the time to read my comment you'd realise it was aimed at those voting it hot without putting their brain in gear....a bit like you with your hasty reply.

You are correct that I took your comment to be aimed at me. You are also correct that there are cheaper deals out there. Where you are wrong is that everyone does not read every thread all the way through, this isn't lethargy it's simply practicality of time versus volume of information. Some people vote on the headline, so the OP getting that right is important. In this case it was corrected within 2 hours of posting (but still got hotter)... people have a right to vote/not vote etc as they see fit and insulting them really isn't necessary or useful.

As for my "nasty" comment... asking you not to post insults doesn't seem that nasty but if you take it that way then that's your right too.

There are quite a few folk here who don't vote hot or cold until they've checked their vote is correct. (I can't claim to be perfect at this but I try)
Usually, as in the case of my first post, that starts with a simple search for similar deals.
If everyone voted on how they liked the title this site simply wouldn't work.
I'll agree that howardino could have expressed his view more kindly; but he was essentially correct.

I don't mean to appear critical of you; you had posted what appeared to you a HOT deal. It wasn't your fault Dabs changed the price and made your deal appear so cold (at least until the quick link to 77S2I800 was found...). More important than folks like me making 'clever' comments on deals are the folks like you who have the guts to post them.

Regarding the "nasty" comment; howardino suggested you were "hasty" in your reply; I think you may have mis-read him.
