I'm not surprised there's nothing to pay - there's at least a 100 quid price difference between the two consoles, possibly more now thanks to GAME's current offer on the Xbox.

Why would you want to trade a 320gb PS3 for a 250GB xbox when they are a lot cheaper to buy than the PS3?

They should give you an xbox plus some extra cash.

Besides...PS3 is better anywway (apart from the PSN of course)

Not being funny or nothing and i know there's going to be loads of XBox fan boys going on and on, but why the hell would anyone want to trade in a PS3 for an Xbox? It's a far superior machine plus a Bluray player too.

Cold from me sorry.

The X-Box is a fine console but given the choice between a used PS3 and a new X-box I'd go for the PS3 purely for the Blu-Ray

Seems like Gamestation are attempting to cash in quick whilst people are feeling negative with the whole PSN debacle. Shame on you Gamestation.

Totally agree, and that is coming from a man with an XBOX

I own both consoles, seeing that brand new 360s are £150 now, and second hand 320GB PS3s are £220 + It is a nice tidy profit there for Gamestation once this PSn debacle is all over!

I own a PS3 but its lost this fight, It was 2 years to late and The blu ray now counts for little .I believe the market share has gone from 90% to 10% in sony's favour to 50 - 50. Still at least the live service is free

I'm a die hard XBox fan these days.. I bought both the PS1 & PS2 on the day of release, but I couldn't justify the HUGE price difference between the X360 and PS3 on release, so I switched to Microsoft.. However, given the comparable prices, you'd have to be mental to take up this deal..

Just in case anyone IS interested though, I'm running a similar deal myself; If you have a 6 month old BMW 3-Series, I'm happy to take it off your hands in exchange for my brand new Ford Focus.. You don't have to pay a thing :)

I mean, really?

GameStataion? GamePoacher more like!

COLD.

Just hope Sony get psn sorted tomorrow or day after so food live keeps the outage record. 2007 must ring a bell with food users :p

As for deal cold. Would rather stick with ps3 than go back to cold

Absolutely brilliant, I was genuinely distraught that I didn't know what food outage you was going on about at first

Lost this fight? I used to talk of such fights between SNES and Megadrive, but I was 13 at the time. As long as both consoles are pretty good, everyone's happy. Some PS3 games cannot be done on Xbox 360 due to limitations of DVD and a blu ray copy of, say Dark Knight, blows away the DVD copy.

yeah well ive got a ps4 and an xbox 720 so button it minions 8)

As a die hard xboxer (who owns all 3 consoles) this is a rip off. However Sony need to get PSN sorted quick. And yes I do remember 2007. Never had red rings but now I appear to have had my account details taken from PSN. I know which I class as worse!

Don't really see the issue here. They're a business... if people are tempted by this offer thanks to Sony's PSN downtime, that's up to them. I actually think it's quite clever and topical marketing.

Anyway, Gamestation obviously aren't expecting Sony to come off too badly as they're going to need to flog the traded consoles at some point.

Seriously I bought PS3 last year and I also purchased the xbox. Both were new. I prefered ps3 as I felt it was better. The Xbox kept pausing for 1 second while I would play. So I ended up selling for same price I purchased.

LOL If that's true you didn't think that the Xbox might be faulty, I've got a 360 and a PS3 and neither has done anything like that before and if either did it's pretty obvious that something is wrong with it.

Anyway back on topic, ripoff deal due to the differences in prices as people have pointed out it's just Gamestations way of cashing in on the PSN nightmare.
