ADMISSION PRICES SLASHED TO £5 FOR TRANMERE V YEOVIL

SUPPORTERS URGED TO BACK OFFER

Tranmere Rovers have reduced admission to their home game against Yeovil Town on Saturday, 26 February, kick off 3pm to just £5 for EVERYONE.
All supporters can watch the match for only £5 in all home stands – a discount of up to £12 on normal prices.
Tranmere Chief Executive Mick Horton said: “We want Tranmere Rovers to be at the centre of our community and this offer will hopefully attract people to Prenton Park. We want to fill the ground if possible.
“Our £5 admission price is a way of making the game as accessible as possible for all and hopefully the fans will enjoy the experience and come back. We offer good, honest football at low prices and this is an ideal chance for the people of Wirral and beyond to come and watch their local team for just a fiver.
“We hope our fans will help us spread the word of this offer so we can get as large a crowd as possible.
“We were really grateful to our supporters who helped promote our £5 offers against Bristol Rovers and Yeovil Town a couple of seasons ago, especially those from http://www.thecowsheds.co.uk,http://www.total-tranmere.co.uk and the Tranmere and Wirral Football Supporters Trust, and we’re hoping they’ll help us again this time.
“We had a really encouraging meeting with members of those groups along with other supporters earlier this week and look forward to working with them again in future. This offer can only work with the help of our supporters.”
Admission is cash on the turnstiles for the Kop Stand, Paddocks and Johnny King Stand. As usual, tickets must be purchased in advance for the Main Stand.
Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day at http://www.trfctickets.com. Alternatively, Club Shop / Ticket Office opening hours are as follows:

How much is it to get back out again?

Upgrade to VIP for £7.99 and get a free PhD in Physiotherapy which entitles you to manage the team for a week. Experience or football knowledge not necessary, just enthusiasm and a tendency to be a 'bit of a clown' .

Couldn't give a monkey's about football - but as everyone else seems to be near Tranmere - there are some people on HUKD who's nearest league team is Yeovil....

fair play to tranmere... i hope their fans back the CLUB (note: not team)
sadly, small clubs will continue to struggle the stronger the bigger clubs get.

I hope the locals turn out in force and enjoy the day.

I'm not remotely interested in football, but if everyone on here who is taking the pee out of this is also happy to fork out £40 to see a bunch of (insert insulting term) premier league players, then take a look in the mirror and see what a fool looks like.

Nope, don't support any of those teams, prefer to support teams like Vauxhalls, who play for the love of the game not the money
#31
I very much doubt, Tranmere play for the money. Do you know anything about their finances?
and seen as its more than a fiver to watch vauxhalls I'd say its a good deal.

And everyone from sarrth wirral is inbread any way, so you stick to your vauxhalls..

Match of the century

Yeovil to London - 130 miles. Typical person that has zero idea of UK geography and lumps all people that live south of somewhere as Londoners
