Seems to have high failure rating going by the 1 star reviews.

I have had a couple of the cards never had a problem or fail same for all my Sandisk cards the only card that failed on me was a Samsung card this year and Samsung wouldn't sent a replacement card unless I sent the the old the card recorded delivery to them which would cost me more money than the card cost jokers

Must have been a cheap card, recorded delivery on a micro SD wouldnt be much.

Fairly consistent with this category of technology on average, namely about 6% of one star rating amongst 4 and 5 star ratings with 500+ reviews. e.g. that for Sandisk 64GB.
.
I have three of exactly this model 64GB, no failure.

I expect as anecdotal that at least 5% of customers post one star reviews anyway even for a good product. So with a similar technology even Samsung evo 64GB get 10% one star reviews out of 4 and 5 stars. I put it down to the huge range of devices of different qualities using these micro SD memories in their read/write process. Read write process is more secure using devices own internal memory soldered onto the motherboard as integrated chips.

Hate to be that guy, but, mine failed a few weeks back. Turned off my phone during an event and when I turned it back on, the phone kept restarting. Took the card out and checked it in the computer, couldn't write to it. Hmm... And I couldn't reformat it either. I've never had another brand go bad on me, except Transcend. And that goes for their SD cards. I've had a couple of their 16GB SD cards go bad. But foolish me, I still use Transcend cards!

The whole review system on Amazon is next to useless. Far better to go with a trusted tech reviewer.
It's lovely to think that we each have some special talent for reading the runes of the 5 star system, but entirely fallacious. Some are genuine, some paid, some by competitors, some by the interns...

So replace one set of paid-for reviews for another paid-for single review?

Negative reviews potentially have value on Amazon if backed up by reasonable & sensible comment, but not much else can be trusted there now :-(
