A few people preferred this over the Fujifilm class 4 from Jessop’s and its definitely worth the extra couple of quid in my opinion with free delivery. Personally i would rather have 2 of these than just one 16GB. Decent reviews.

The fuj one from jessops is a better deal if you don't mind class 4 me thinks!

But Class 4 isn't really up to it with the latest devices such as HD Camcorders so it's horses for courses. It's not all about size.
#3
Correct - not all "class 4" cards work ok in my Panasonic TZ8 camera when using it to record movies. You need class 6 or above to make sure that youdont' have any issues with mine.

I got two of these when they were on offer from Play last month at a similar price and they're great...

I bought one of these yesterday. It's a great price! 4 1/2 stars is pretty good for memory on amazon. The sandisk class 10 is about 50% faster but this should plenty unless you are recording at over 100mbit/s.

Sandisk Class 4 works fine in the Panasonic HDC-SD9 cmacorder.

still a very good deal at £14.56 for a 8gb class 10 card. I have the class 6 version same brand works really well and quick. Thanks will buy.

My 16gb (class 6, but fast enough for all camcorders out there) Transcend card cost the same as this 8gb a year ago, amazing how the memory prices has increased since then - hopefully they come back again soon.
#13
That card is a Class 2 and significantly slower.

In other news, this price is now around £12 for the card in question :)

I'm sure class 2 and upwards will work in your camera but to make the most of it you should consider using faster memory. If you are happy with the operation of yours then fine however people should be made aware that these differences exist.

Class 2: 16 Mbit/s (2 MB/s)
Class 4: 32 Mbit/s (4 MB/s)
Class 6: 48 Mbit/s (6 MB/s)
Class 10: 80 Mbit/s (10 MB/s)

The class numbers define the data transfer speeds. Haven't got the speeds immediately to had but Class 2 is slowest, Class 4 is twice as fast and Class 6 three times as fast as Class 2.

In cameras and video cameras where data transfer speeds can be important you need the highest class cards. Higher class cards cost more than lower class ones. If the card doesn't state its class assume that it's class 2.

Also note comment by Davestavros above that Sandisk Class 10 is about 50% faster than Transcend, so bear in mind Class ratings aren't an absolute guide to speed.

Currently £14.40 so the price seems to be fluctuating. Nonetheless, still the cheapest around taking free delivery into account.
#17
i didnt know which memory card to get for my new hybrid so i bought the samsung waterproof memory cards, looks cool and lifetime guarantee,
#18
Could someone please un-expire this. The price is currently at £12.65 and seems to be fluctuating up and down by a few pence every few hours. No need for people to be trigger happy with the expire button
#19
I think the price isn't fluctuating as much as it appears.....

It's just that each time you follow the link to the deal, a different market seller is highlighted as the 'main' suggestion.

Price still fluctuating - now back to £14.40. Someone is selling it for £12.65 but there is an additional £2 postage on top of this price.
