#5
Thanks. Ordered a couple to try in my HD Camcorder.

16GB cards are alright, but I still prefer to keep my data in smaller units !

I was wondering that too. My 8GB SDHC Class 10 is Orange

Not direct from Amazon though, it's from a 3rd party market seller.
#8
Good price.
Bought the 16gb version from Play a few weeks ago when it was £14.99.
Heat added.
#9
Thanks ordered.

MyMemory is a bit more than a 3rd party market seller, tbh.
#11
just what i needed. ordered.
#12
can anyone tell me is Transcend a better make than Sandisk? i have always bought Sandisk and found them to be good. Thanks
#13
Transcend is not a fantastic brand - I got refunded on an 8gb class 10 sd card -v. slow.

This is NOT an Amazon or 'Fulfilled by Amazon' product, it's Amazon Marketplace and therefore isn't allowed on HUKD. If we could list anything from Marketplace sellers then this site would consist of nothing else.

Nonsense. There are plenty of precedents for this.

Did you get a high horse for christmas?
#17
What card is faster, this class 10 or memory stick pro duo magic gate?
#18
i posted this card even cheaper a couple of days ago so why has this got so hot when you could of got the same card cheaper before?
#19
I think you're missing the point. Amazon marketplace can be anyone, it's no different to eBay. eBay isn't allowed on here, ever wondered why? It's because people would come here listing their own stuff, and the site/server would shut down due to traffic. So, just to repeat myself, Amazon Marketplace is NOT ALLOWED ON HUKD, and never has been. I suggest you check the threads in Feedback.

There are plenty of precedents for serial killing, it doesn't make it right. What I said is correct.

i've had a post removed for listing what amounts to 3rd party seller

If moderators miss it, the listing won't be removed

Is it really? From the Feedback forum you recommended on a thread about Amazon Marketplace deals.

This you will find also applies to eBay, which contrary to your belief is also allowed if the vendor behind the eBay sale is an established retailer on HUKD (e.g. Argos).
#23
Clearly I was talking about small companies and individuals, not Argos and other bigname retailers. The difference is that the retailer on Marketplace changes based on current availability and pricing. For example, the above link is now fulfilled by 'Amazin Memory'. Are they an approved vendor? Are mods constantly checking the deals to see if the vendor has changed? Obviously they can't do that. The OP should put the marketplace seller in the title so people know it's not an Amazon transaction.

OK, I can see where you are going wrong here. The vendor is still MyMemory, which is clearly an approved retailer given their numerous offers on this site. If you pay attention to the offer price above it is £7.75, which is the price of the MyMemory posting on Amazon. Amazin Memory is £7.74. Amazon changes the headline retailer when there are several for the same item to the cheapest that has the item in stock.

Take a look at the other retailers under the box for Amazin Memory and you will see MyMemory there:

I hope that a few people will happy with their bargains. It's a shame that some people have to try and spoil the fun.

I'm well aware of how Amazon works, but thank you for the jpeg. The point is the poster STILL hasn't changed the title or info for this deal, it still says Amazon with no mention that it is marketplace, or who the retailer is (or was). So once again, this item is NOT being sold by Amazon, it has no Amazon protection or customer service, it is NOT an 'Amazon deal'. It should be listed as a MyMemory deal. Hopefully you get the idea now. Accuracy is useful.

Already brought 1 before Christmas but this is a brilliant price, voted hot!!!

You're right but the reason I said it was is when I clicked the link the first time it went to a marketplace seller and not the actual amazon price. This keeps happening to me.

Well then you really shouldn't have an Alan Partridge avatar; you don't deserve it with your level of Alan-ignorance.

Have to say this arrived this morning, excellent service, top class card. Not quite sure what the issue is with all the marketplace stuff, I'm happy to get good deals wherever but for those who need more info this seemed to come from gomemory.
#36
Whats the issue with amazon market place, I was under the impression it is very safe as if anything goes wrong amazon will sort it out and refund you.
