what class of card would i need to use with a new SLR camera?
#9
Hi all
The 16gb Class 10 is only £17.50 delivered from same company. Have ordered one for my HD camcorder. Hopefully quick delivery. :)
#10
Bought a 16GB class 10 a couple of weeks back and took 10 days to deliver, worth the wait.
#11
price is very good but after 3 weeks there is still no sign of this card being delivered!
my memory maybe good but their delivery options are a real pull down for me
#12
Thanks - paid £12 a few weeks back for one of these.

be warned these transend class 10 cards are a rip off as they are not class 10 more like class 6 so think of it as buying a class 6.
#14
Sounds like a bargain for me..voted hot and ordered one. Someone did a review in a forum about the write/read speeds. Class 10 as it is!!

Most SLR cameras take compact flash, which is a faster (though more expensive, and larger) type of card. If your SLR does take SD (a number of them do) then you should buy as fast a card as you can afford. You will still be able to take photos on any speed of card, but if you want to take photos in quick succession then you'll need a quick card.

This card works well in my Canon 500D DSLR. I have 2 for £9 each.
#19
10p cheaper than i can get on amazon cheers
#20
Shows as £7.99 from my memory following the OPs instructions. Expired?
#21

good price but hardly 700 degrees worth
spend most of my time on a few sections but it seems that gaming+computers really bring out excitable folks.
this is basically standard price for this +/- a few pence.
on other sections you'd need a real saving for any heat at all
for all the times per year you are going to buy one of these the saving is tiny both long and short term
... '2p on a tin of beans' deals that people whine about is going to help most people more :)

i know my own deal on groceries is ~ 60% off many other places atm (cheapest i have ever seen)
saving 7 quid per 4.50 spent yet only 250 degrees.
puts these into perspective really
