No reason not to work on the M3 as it supports SDHC.
Possibly the R4 supports it now as well.

Excuse my lack of knowledge with SDHC cards, but what would the difference be of using this in my digi camera as opposed to just using an ordinary 4 gig SD card ??
#7
there not much chance of 7dayshop delivering these by xmas though are there?
would be good to put in phones for xmas day pics and music.

There's no such thing as an ordinary 4 gig SD card. SD cards only go up to 2gb. ;-)
SDHC goes from 4gb to 32gb.
The larger capacity cards like this will only work in devices that specifically say they're SDHC compatible - so don't buy to replace a smaller SD card if you're not sure...

edit: typo

I picked one of these up from 7dayshop last week for my BB Bold for 10.99 so this price is HOT. The card is pretty fast. I have chucked a bunch of videos on it and there is no lag/delay. Thumbnails are displayed instanteously.

These are class 6 cards, which are written to a lot quicker than most others.
There are regular SD cards, that aren't SDHC, but uncommon.

I don't know how you paid £10.99 a week ago, as they were only £5.49 when I submitted this deal 3 weeks ago:

This is not quite correct, I actually own a non HD 4GB SD card though I have not seem any about for some time.

Aye, strictly speaking the SDHC bit about them going up to "only" 32gb isn't 100% accurate, either. I believe that in both cases there's a generally accepted limit that - it's possible to exceed, but it's rare. ;)

Well I think 32Gb is the accepted limit, now they announced its successor: SDXC at CES the other day.

SDXC will cover 64Gb to a theoretical maximum of 2Tb.
