Yeah, I agree - ordered one of these expecting it to be solid metal and heavy like the Star Trek one but it was very plasticky in comparison. Not that this is a naff deal though, still hot at this price.

What?! The movie is absolutely terrible! I guess the deal is worth it for the USB stick alone though.
#15
Paid the same for 4gb stick alone, so ordered one as well.

Got mine .
But followed all the steps, downloaded DIVX player to play it, entered the activation code and my laptop won't play this. I get an error message about system clock need to be updated. But my windows time is correct. What am I doing wrong or is this a known issue?

I'm also having a problem with the movie. I've downloaded DivX, followed all the steps and it keeps saying i'm not authorised to play it.

just a quick question, are these anything like the Digital copies you get on dvd/blu ray? in that they have to be downloaded and watched by a certain date?

You need to play it before the end of this year for the first time and that seems to be the only condition. But as far I can tell once that's done there's no expiry date, so to speak.

This probably explains the discounted price.I managed to play it on the laptop now, but the PS3 just won't play it either USB or after burning to DVD as the DivX site suggests. Did all the steps on DivX site. Of course registered the DivX number on the PS3 page on DivX site as well. Don't think I'll ever buy DivX based video again. Will pay a little more and buy the Blueray or even DVD if it's cheap. Quality of the playback is not as good as HD or may be not even good SD quality. But the hassle and the time to get it to work!!!!
But at least the 4GB USB stick will be handy.
The DivX site has a help/ support page you could email them.

On my laptop I disabled the Kaspersky Internet Security (completely disabled it [temporarily, whilst playing movie] by right clicking on the K.I.S. icon at bottom right hand of screen and exiting- pausing didn't work) and then opened the DivX player and went to the library (under the drop down box under the heading called view) and right click on the movie and played it and it worked. It never works when K.I.S is turned on, can't even log on to the player.
