Paid £3.99 each for the collections about 6 weeks ago on comixology so this is really good value! Shame I have most but for the price it is probably still worth getting with more coming.

Hot deal but I prefer 2000AD with Rogue Trooper.

I think I've got the originals in the loft somewhere...
So much better than the cartoon.

If you love G1 then watch Transformers Prime. A lot better than the films

By the way, if you have a Google account then you can upload the PDFs in to Google Books using their cloud service. Even if you have an iOS device you can download the Google Books App to view them for free.

Apart from the originals are most of the others here complete or are they ongoing series? I think I'll got for bta but are the $15 tier worth £3 more? will they finish half way through a story and then I will have to pay a lot to finish?
Edit - the $15 tier seem to be ongoing series so I don't think its worth it unless someone knows they end at a decent point?

Can you flick panel to panel with the Google Books App on iOS? Bought a Humble Bundle last month and they recommend Comic Flow for epub but I can't even get that to load them.

Brilliant value.

If you were ranking all Transformers stories across all media in order of quality I'd put All Hail Megatron right near the top, and the $15+ selection is great too.

Heat added.

(Although, when you have a selection of what's on offer the "more XX coming soon!" feature is a bit of a pain. Will it be something I already own?)

The upload limit for Google Books is 100mb, so you will only be able to upload the standard PDFs nothing else that way. I'm going to give it a try and see how it looks

Great comics - I bought the majority of these through Comixology, kinda wish I had waited now!

Are these all complete stories and runs or are there any missing as finding lack of information on this?

I feel old! And young again lol

I still have all my transformers magazines.

Wish I had the toys though.

Any advice on which format is the best to use on iOS? I'm guessing PDF (HD) or EPUB for something of a decent quality, but I don't know if there are any benefits from using EPUB (do you get the ability to focus on panels say?) or are all formats basically just "baked images"?

I'm not 100% sure based on 'Volume' numbers (i.e. which issues are in which), but I read individual issues based on the chronological reading order here (continuity, not release date): IDW Transformers Chronological Reading Guide

I must confess I have the original series comics sitting in the loft all 200 editions (minus edition 178 - as I was having a bad week that week but I was only 11 at the time) . Am hoping I can sell them and retire someday but think Michael Bay will need to stop making rubbish movies before that happens.

Hot. Bought! Will probably never get around to reading!
But I get to support my favourite toy franchise from my childhood, at least.

It's a really good set. The Classics stuff is from the US '80s comic, which were printed in the UK too but with many more stories. All Hail Megatron and Autocracy are excellent stand-alone stories. The More Than Meets The Eye and Robots In Disguise are two parallel stories, one following events on Cybertron after the end of the war, the other on a mismatched gang of 'bots who are off on a quest. They both follow a previous series, but not having read it won't make much difference. They're still ongoing and I think there are two more volumes in each series until they merge in Dark Cybertron... also ongoing. For me, as a huge Transformers fan this most recent set of stories is the best there has been. The Spotlight collection is on-off character based tales that also fill in important parts of the overall narrative that runs through most of the IDW series. I've just bought the lot as a birthday present for my brother. They're all ace.

Oh, and ComicRack is a good free Android app for comic reading. Sadly nothing comes close to Comixology though.

Comic noob here. Does colour matter? I want to to read them on my kindle but obviously it would be in black and white. Really enjoyed TWD on a kindle but that is already by design in black and white.

They're glorious in colour, with some of the finest artwork Transformers has ever had...

Might just wait until I get a tablet in a few months then. Just thought a good story could be appreciated regardless but I've never read a comic apart from TWD so wouldn't know! Already purchased them yesterday but haven't started reading them. If only a comic ereader was made...

Wow just tried Comixology. Had the app and The Darkness (from owning the game). The panel view makes it easy to read on a mobile! Is it possible to do that on another app for these comics? Sorry for asking so many questions.

I'm assuming these are the US based comics with stories by Budiansky. Marvel UK's Transformers was far superior both in terms of stories and artwork.
