Smyths today spotted the computron boxed set for £69.99 instore (Oldbury) and checking online it's same price also. Rare to see these boxed sets under £100 and a lot of places seem to not have stock anymore. Toys r us still have it nearly double the price!!!

Picked it up other week, a nice box set and the scattershot (main figure/torso) paint job is really nice compared to the stand alone release (which didn't really have any paint/colouring at all).

Really tempted to get it but was hoping they may have had some decepticon ones. Love G1 computron though, one of my faves as a kid.

The cold voters wont have a clue:
1x Voyage size figure £20-£23
4x Deluxe figure £13-£18 each
1x Legends figure with extra robot/target master that most Legends class figures do not have say £12
Feet/Hands perfect effect packs £20 upwards (they have more posability than the ones in the set but it's nice to have feet and hands unlike the things that come with stand alone deluxe combiner figures).

It might be an expensive toy but reasonably priced and by definition 'cheap' and a good deal saving £60 compared to toys r us.

I did expect it to not do that well but from posting transformer deals before it may help someone.
Sometimes I think people vote cold as they dont look at deals the right way.
If someone posts a £2000 mountain bike for £700 I bet most people will vote cold as you can get a bike from Halfords for £100. If your a pro biker this may be a fantastic deal though as you'd be saving £1400.

I'm tight or just miss the old days of £8-10 for a deluxe and would expect to pay £15-£18 for a Voyager sized figure (I'd normally pass on legends sized figures at £6 but they have improved on them, the Legends UFO guy in this set is bigger than what I thought it would be especially in vehicle mode). So I'd say £80 is reasonable for a set like this, £70's a deal to me any day of the week (it was £130 on toys r us website like you said, glad that they offer it a bit cheaper on ebay). I pieced Bruticus together in sales at £10 a deluxe and £12 for the the Voyager but lucked out on getting all 4 deluxes to complete the set in one go. The Decepticon Liokaiser set is £130 everywhere, so I'll patiently wait to see if I can get it cheaper (more than likely have to pay more as it doesn't appear to have been stocked at retail over here).

I'd love to get more of the combiner / titantransfotmers but they cost a fortune as so many. Even reduced I know if I start collecting them I'll end up spending a fortune. End up running out of space to put them all too.
