While still a bit pricey, this is a good price compared to elsewhere. The Transformers - The Complete Boxset is priced at £49.99 @ DVD.co.uk - next online price I can see is £60 at Amazon, £73 @ play.com.

Synopsis: Includes seasons 1 to 4 of the popular 1980s animation series TRANSFORMERS and TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE: RECONSTRUCTED. Seasons 1 and 2 of TRANSFORMERS focuses on the battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, which are both robots that have the ability to transform into other objects. Set in the year 2005, TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE sees the Autobots and the Decepticons still locked in battle, but a deadly new force enters the fray--a giant killer planet known as Unicron (voiced by film legend Orson Welles). The heroic Autobots must fight for their own survival and to save their home planet from destruction. A classic of 1980s animation, based on the popular TV series, TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE features a star-studded array of vocal talent, including Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Judd Nelson, Eric Idle, and Casey Kasem. Following on from where TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE left off, seasons 3 and 4 of TRANSFORMERS sees Optimus Primal leading the Maximals in their seemingly never ending quest to defeat the evil Predacons and their leader, Megatron. The box set also includes a double sided poster of TRANSFORMERS THE MOVIE.

This is a good deal compared to usual pricing but I got the 25th Anniversary boxset complete with tin box with Autobot logo indented in it and DVDs presented inside in a comic book style case each page contains a DVD in its holder alongside the story. It has all 4 series and The Movie. Got it from ebay (its always listed) for just under £30. It arrived and I was expecting some kind of piracy but no - all original and brand new. The discs are imported from Hong Kong but these are not rip offs - theyre the chinese versions (by pressing the audio button you can have the English language track. Voted this deal hot anyway as good for the english version. It appears on ebay a lot so keep looking for it (im not the seller by the way :-)

This is what it looks like:

I seem to remember a website had these for a ridiculously low price some time ago .. something like £15 or even £5.

But judging by your picture, they are glasses that shoot lasers...where you get them for £250?? I want a pair!!

Well, when you have eyesight as bad as mine, you actually need to concentrate all light into laser form to be able to see - or sometimes it seems that way.

£250 for glasses... Bit excessive? :|

Got alerted about this the other day. Have too many unwatched DVD's already without spending another £50 on something I know nothing about!

I use special lenses to cut down the thickness and weight - I can't see 6 inches in front of me clearly without them, and I want them treated for durability and to cut reflection. Also, I like nice frames, which were about half the total cost. Titanium is strong and won't give me an reaction like the nickel you get in cheaper frames while being lighter. Considering I'm wearing my glasses almost constantly I don't cheap out on them.

I know I could have gotten it cheaper ordering online, but I wanted to try them on and have them fitted. Its very important I get the right glasses for me.

You can order glasses online? That's news to me. I've only ever picked the cheapest glasses up after having my eye test - My eyes usually require me to need new glasses after every visit.

Not happy with my current specs, actually...I've had issues with bright objects I don't recall having with my previous lenses. I wish I hadn't been cheap and kept my previous lenses...

I just had a look - the first page in the DVD book (on my Transformers tin set - not the deal advertised here) says Season 1, 2, 3, 4 - lists all the episodes and The Movie. It doesnt mention Autobot city anywhere.
