Damn fine price for the two Blu-rays considering 'Revenge of The Fallen' is fairly new and 'Transformers' alone on Blu-ray is selling for £15 - £17 elsewhere.

Own 'Transformers' but didn't think much of 'Revenge of The Fallen'... in fact, I downright loathed it!

Nice find OP!
Heat added.
I just picked up the IMAX big screen edt of the 2nd film, was 1st time seeing it, not such a greast film.

lol I was going to post this, been looking for it to drop for a while, hot deal especially as revenge of the fallen is still 19.99 brand new in Morrisons!
#3
Do you get the DVD version or Digital copy with this ?
#4
problem is the price drops so fast it makes these expensive i got batman dark knight this week for £6.98 it started out at £25 wot a rip off if they can sell it for £6.98 and make a profit look at the mark up i now only buy when there on offer and not the over inflated prices they want and they wonder why people copy them....lol

personally i think paying more than £15 for a blu ray is too much. the majority of the transfers are poor. new stuff is ok i guess
#6
Good find but still overpriced. I already have the first on Blu-Ray but will wait for the 2nd film to drop to £10 before I pick it up.

I try to stick at £9.99 max. ALthough I don't think I'll ever get star trek at this rate :-(

Does anyone know how the first one on BD compares to the HD-DVD version pls? (I already have it on HD-DVD.) i.e. is the sound and image the same?
#10
In less than 3 years time you'll be able to buy blu rays like these for 3 for £10 in Asda.

Transformers is magic in hi def though! God bless fast Internet and illegal downloads!

The only difference is that the the Dolby Digital Plus mix has been upgraded to Dolby True HD for the Blu-ray release. Otherwise, there is absolutely no difference; the picture quality is exactly the same

However, I still think this isn't that good a deal. Game and Gamestation still have copies of the first for £4.98, meaning you're essentially paying £17 JUST for Revenge of the Fallen.

2 of the greatest movies ever made.

Good price for the 2 considering Transformers on blu-ray is still holding its value. Second film was poor though. Stupid story that made no sense, silly robots, ANNOYING parents etc Not planning on buying it myself.
#14
first is good second is *****....but good deal..heat added

You can pick up the first one for a fiver in game or gamestation. If you have a good sound system then the upgrade from hd dvd is worth it, I have both but my hd dvd player is the xbox 360 so the best sound I could get was DTS.

The second one is worth having on blu ray for the special effects, but it's a terrible film in my opinion. But I know people who love it.

To the guy having a go at the dark knight price. I bought it day one for £15 and think it was worth every penny. I guess it depends on how patient you are, but it does look as if blu ray prices are starting to drop which is great.

I was a massive fan of the first so saw the 2nd one at IMAX. Kind of hard not to love it after seeing it there.

Then got the Wal-Mart IMAX edition bluray from the states.

So I've seen it 5 times now but have never actually seen the version on offer here. Could be crap for all I know. :-D

Thanks for the info. Not such a good deal in my case then, so I'll pass.

PS. I finally viewed Wanted - Weapon of Fate and Terminator 4 on BD at the weekend, and the DTS-HD soundtracks blew me away!

I'm waiting until I can get it the second one on its own for under £12. Probably end up getting it on DVD if that doesn't happen soon.
