Travel Anywhere in Scotland for just £2.00 Single with Citylink (including Megabus and Citylink Gold)
Starting in Tomorrow's Daily Record and Metro
Obviously won't appeal to everyone, but still useful for many. The Citylink Gold is a 'steal' if you can get a ticket for that. They give you free tea and biscuits on longer journeys.

I know it says it's only valid for single tickets, but can we get two singles?

I'm pretty sure if it's two singles for two people, or even a single to your destination and a single back again, the answer to both is yes. You would simply make them as two separate bookings.
Great idea! I'll be on that!

No way; we're too mean to share deals with each other.
Pointless post so I will counter it with another one:
but you have to live in Scotland which more than outweighs your so called plus points.
In which case you must be old enough to realise that nothing is free in this life. Just wait and see what is still "free" when Scotland is independent.
Cold in most senses than one.
