Does it not say something like 15 miles away from city centre? You can click on a map on the Travelodge site :)

Where have you got a flight so cheap?

Where have you got a flight so cheap?

I assume they mean flying either to Girona or Reus on Ryanair rather than Barcelona (BCN) or Madrid on Easyjet. Then of course you have to pay extra to get into Barcelona from Girona or Reus.

Ryanair and Easyjet are doing some cheap flights - just depends where you want to fly from I think!

Your having a laugh - Not on Ryanair. Get your facts correct please. You are thinking of BCN.
#15
sorry i did not know you were talkng ryanair, i thought you were talking barcelona airport to barcelona

anyway, easy jet return to barcelona (BCN) for about £30 return is available

my facts now stand corrected (even though i was right in what i was thinking)

Yes i know you were. I was answering for the post above though so we were both right. BCN to the c ity is a doddle but different story for the other 2.

I flew with ryanair earlier in the year into Girona, hassle free in my opinion, there were loads of buses waiting to transport people to Barcelona central. Can't remember the price but know it was cheap. I think it took us less than an hour to get into centre of Barca. I'm not gonna say its better than easyjet, obviously not, but it is a really good alternative because at the time i booked my flights the easyjet prices were more thasn double that of ryanair.

Anyone spot more than two days together?
#25
Didnt get the cheapest deals but did manage to do my missus birthday weekend - March 27th to 29th for under £190 - Easyjet flights from Bristol and 2 nights accom in Madrid - now thats a bargain!

I have stayed out at Las Rozas with work when I was in Madrid. It's just off a motorway and is a long way out but there is a train station (Las Matas not Las Rozas) 10 minutes walk away. The trains are very regular but they stop at about 11 in the evening when nightlife in Madrid is just kicking off. There are a few places locally to eat and drink but it's not great. All in all a decent location if you just to do some sightseeing with the family and get to bed for a reasonable hour but if you want to enjoy the nightlife spend the extra and stay centrally.
