i booked three of these this summer and took my family to london, stonehenge and cardiff all on £9 per night. Fantastic!

unfortuantely couldn't make one of our £9 bookings so we lost the money, once booked the dates/location is not transferable

just looked at my quidco history and they only gave 4% on travelodge bookings. even though they have stopped 4% of £9 isn't too much to loose, just think of the saving.

"Sale rooms can be booked up to 70 days in advance"

That doesn't make sense, if it starts tomorrow then it'll be impossible to book for December, January or February........... ???

Keep checking throughout the day, they always open up the sale much earlier than they claim. Guess the IT guys want to go home.

can anybody recommend a good travelodge for london? thanks
#19
Sounds like a good deal but until I see the "Top city centre hotels" I'm going to assume they are all on motorways and midweek! I'll hold off voting for now!

i have stayed at feltham when i went to london ... it was noisy but right near the station so when you come home at the end of a long day its off the train and 2 minutes to your hotel... loads of places to eat nearby too... we are going again in october

not city road, very noisey

Just finished off the last £9 room deal - Did 2 seperate nights out in Leeds and 1 in Manchester.

Not bothering with Manchester this time - The hotel was great but Manchester city centre could have done with a hosing down.

Defo be in for treating the missus to some more nights out round Leeds - Just need to book my parents for the babysitting. :whistling:

Start work @ 6am also, so timing couldn't be better.

Thanks for all the positives ... it's nice to be able to put something back in the kitty as I've found plenty of great deals on here posted by other peeps :)

As I have said, they have never ever started a sale at 6am, they normally start the previous evening. Keep checking otherwise you might find you get up early and all the best rooms have gone.

Did Chester earlier in the year £9 room and took the kids to the zoo. Also used the Kellogs promotion for the zoo tickets so paid less than £35 for day out and stay over.........what a Hotukdeal!:-D

Myself and my partner have stayed twice at the Croydon Central in London and it has always been really nice. The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms have always looked clean and appeared to be relatively new. Staff are also polite and helpful. The area is great for shopping, good choice of restaurants and you also have two cinemas and plenty of bars around. East Croydon and West Croydon stations are both 3-4 minutes walk. All in all, this hotel is great for a romanic weekend!
#31
Thanks for the heads up!!!

Great deal, rep added. Can anyone suggest any good days out for the family with a local travelodge to stay in ?

where do you live?

stonehenge and avebury ( a large stone circle, no admission fee) and white chalk horses on hillsides (again free) in wiltshire is a good over-nighter. salisbury cathedral too. there are a couple of travelodges in this area.

We have stayed at Washington North and South on the A1. Loads of things to do round about - Beamish, Diggerland, Wet'n'Wild (a water park)......I could go on. Nice play park and walks at Riverside Park in nearby Chester-Le-Street.
Give breakfast at the MOTO services a miss and go into Chester-Le-Street to The Three Cooks cafe for a great value breakfast. Also try the Red Lion on the way out of Chester-Le Street for dinner. They have lovely food, good prices and they welcome children
