Flew air canada to orlando last month. connected via Toronto and you do your US immigration there not at final destination. flying back we connected through Montreal and immigration was only done at Orlando as we were only connecting. have to say Montreal has to be one of the most boring airports I have ever been too and trying to find normal food was a struggle..( very poncy and French). especially with 5 kids!!
Surprised people want to go there after watching CBB .
can't find it either, looks expired.

Great price as I've never been to both places but I've heard Canada is expensive

Canada is very affordable, especially with the exchange rates where they are today. Great place to go!
mrsincere
I notice the outbound flight is via LHR. so can you miss the DUBLIN leg and catch the flight straight from London? Do airlines let you do this?
no
Please stop the open jaws. not an attractive look :-) good deal otherwise
pew41
Good deal if you are in NI or ROI

bit of a pain and not much of saving from London
Better check prices from London directly. They are much higher. Flight to DUB are very cheap. AirCanada have half price tickets from DUB as well and you go via LHR.
Just buy it on ba.com and send ba.com a screenshot of the lower price. I did this with a flight to Chicago 2 days ago...had a refund within 24 hours :)

ba - Price promise :)

Great price but would never fly with china southern again after a bad experience on holiday to thailand recently. Rude steward, terrible food and got an email from the travel operator 3 days before flying home telling me that the flight from bangkok to guangzou was cancelled and instead of the 16hr journey which was bad enough, it would now be a little over 27hr! After speaking to china southern i found that this is actually quite a common thing to happen. I've never moaned about another airline and i've flown with all the cheap long hauls, air india, jet air, sri lankan, aeroflot... and they've all been fine. Pay a little extra and go with another airline unless you've got no commitments and the patience of a saint.
Sadly, I have to agree about China Southern. I lived in China for a couple of years, and was twice caught out by China Southern cancelling flights at short notice, with no explanation or alternative arrangements offered. When I complained about their cancellation causing me to miss a connecting flight, their response was to offer me a later flight which arrived at the airport after my 2nd flight had already left. They couldn't care less if you're stranded as a result of their disorganization.
Highly recommend Cambodia, spent 1 month there over xmas, spent xmas eve, day and boxing day on a hammock on beach near shihanoukville, awesome, and cheap, if you visit Angkor Wat it will be an experience you will never forget and if you need a place there try the yellow guest house, off the strip, offers a free tuk tuk and at $5 a night for cold shower and fan cannot be beat, splash out at $10 if you want ac and hot shower :)
we did the temples in June last year and whilst it was very hot, it was bearable (just done Petra last week and that was much worse). We took a private car between Phnom Penh and siem reap, 4wd Lexus with climate control and a very good safe driver and paid $80, took about 5 hours.
trying to find this on the site, but it's not there?
Also remember that it's going to be above 40 degrees in June. OK for sitting by the pool but it'll be hard going if you want to visit the temples.

Thanks for the tip! I'm being forced to use up 8 holidays accumulated at work before the end of April so this is just the ticket. I've just booked two weeks from Heathrow to Bangkok and it came to £406 from April 15th to April 29th - with the benefit of travelling over Easter holidays so an extra two holidays effectively free. I was surprised at the length of these flights. Mine were around 17hr and 20hrs with a short stop over. Anyway, the price seems like a bargain.

With all the political unrest and protests in Thailand it's no wonder flights are cheap
I fly to Thailand 3 times a year using direct flights with Eva Air. I book with whichever agent is the cheapest at the time. Have used Travel Up on 2 occasions and not had any problems with them.
They seem to be top for headline prices on far east flight search listings but I never bought from them.
Royally dicked and thailand ;)

Tried and only got lufthansa flights.
Isolated BA only and its £558.
Is it expired ?

It looks like it (which is why I don't think posts like this are always a great way to advertise flight deals that could literally change with a single booking being made!).

I can find a few dates in May for United at £399 if that's any good though? 1st-12th for example. Same for Virgin Atlantic.

It's a decent price but not that special imo. Flights from Belfast to Newark will usually be cheaper than from anywhere else in the UK as they aren't subject to UK APD.

you clearly dont fly from belfast often, great prices! nice find.

February and March this year, both times for under the £300 mark.
Any from Birmingham, Midlands, Luton, Manchester?
Just booked for 8 nights £630... thnx for the heads up op... appreciated

yea new york in the winter.. great deal :|

Since when has March been in winter?

It is (mostly) Although depends on where you live I suppose.

In the UK most of March is defined as winter. The first day of the March equinox (varying between 19 and 21 March) is used to mark the first day of spring, and the Northern solstice (around 21 June) is taken as the first day of summer. Although we don't usually take the 1st 3 weeks of june as being spring.

$14 dollar for 90 days esta visa waiver program i think
2 years for $14.
Have to say that on the same dates you can fly the same route, though into JFK on KLM for £392. KLM or Air Canada ? Know which I would choose.
Don't be a **** and go direct.

Not 100% sure if it applies to every flight to the US but the last 3 flights I've taken that have involved a change on the way out have required that I collect my bags and re-check them in for the internal US flight. Perhaps someone may be able to confirm? If that is the case it could be a bit hectic to get through imigration in washington, collect bags, recheck them and get to the gate.
This would be the case for any itinerary where you change from an international flight to a domestic one.

Not just domestic any connecting flight
