Def. not worth the original price. I personally wouldn't pay the reduced price either.

The rear suspension on this bike is worse than useless. It's appears non-adjustable so different weight riders cannot tune it, it's likely to buck a light rider out of the saddle. Most of the energy you excert peddling will be wasted in the bobbing action.

The disk brakes are nothing to write home about either, cable discs are a minor upgrade from rim brakes but lack the some of the benefits of hydraulics. That said you are unlikely to get hydraulics for this price even in a sale.

That handle-bar stem is an old style abandoned by proper MTB bike manufacturers years ago as it will not survive even a mild crash. Trust me on this, I broke 2 ribs bending a 'proper' handle bar set!

In short... avoid like the plague, get a decent front suspension only bike and you will get a much better ride for your money.

You're a fan of this bike then? :w00t:

Not a big fan of cheap full suspension bikes full stop. Far better of getting a hard tail (front suspension only) unless you are paying serious money!
