On yer bike! have some heat

Virtually all steel and very heavy - wasn't worth £199 in the first place IMHO.
As a hack bike it's fine for the price, but no-one serious would use a bike like this - for a kid it might put them off cycling as it would be sooo slow...;-)
Not hot but not cold.

Never worth £199 in the first place.

Why would anyone want full suspension..much more effort needed to get anywhere when you have rear suspension, especially coupled with the weight of this one
#5
You're better off spending £80 on a second hand £350 bike on ebay. These cheap ones are terrible and difficult to use.

Think of mobile phones, a £10 one does work as a phone but it can be hard to use. An entry level nokia may be £30 with apparently less features but it is easy to use, reliable and strong.

COLD.
Most things from Halfrauds are terrible.
Best avoided!

I agree with all the negative comments. If you want to go slowly over rough ground this may be OK. If you want to use a bike on the road, get a ROAD bike, not a MTB.
#8
Wouldn't touch this with a barge pole, don't want to sound too negative but these cheap full sussers are generally awful, as previously said either get a good second hand ebay job or save up to about £300 and get a hard tail, much beter idea.

I agree this isn't a great bike, but as a price cut, and if you're after a budget bike, it's a good deal and could make some kids xmas. Hot

Not the best bike but a good price

I thought the title said TAX OUTRAGE

To be fair, this is a terrible bike and not worth anywhere near it's starting price.

I have a cheap steel bike and although it gets me about, it's not nice to ride as it weighs a ton, but for the money I paid I can't complain.

So if you;re looking for nothing special, to do nothing special then this isn't a bad price either.

If you're mainly going to be onroad I would advise buying a hybrid. If offroad then get a hardtail moubtain bike (front sus only)

£300 ought to be the minumum spend on a bike if you actually want to use and enjoy it.

Google the following, they ususally have good deals on last year's models.

Winstanley bikes
ashcycles
pauls cycles

cold, this bike sucks!
never worth 200 quid to start with.
it'll probably rust in about a month

the only reason you'd need full sus is to go off road - X-country, downhill etc, for everything else you're just making everything a lot harder on your self. No doubt even in its "supposed" element, it would be effectively pointless, could you imagine trying to ride a tonne of steel up a muddy hill, no hope...

I love how these cheapo bikes go for the kill with the full (£2500) downhill bike look.

Anyone looking for a bike around this price would be well advised to buy something that isn't trying so hard to be something it is not,
The kit on this will not live up to the promise that is for sure.

If these Steel bikes are no good then please do post a link for a hotukdeal for a bargain bike we should go for instead. Instead of suggesting please actually show us an alternative hotukdeal for a better bike of simular value then. Easy saying its no good and suggesting another but show us it and the price then. If its twice the price their is no comparison. It's like advising someone after a Seat to go a Lexus. Totally diferent price brackets. Thanks in advance.
