Awesome deal.. Normally about £50 but for 2 days only, it's a tenner. Pro version too, not the standard version.

I've been using Trend Micro for years, and they've always been brill.

Good price for 1 year subsciption. Not sure I would need the pro version.
Don't like the option to 'upgrade to 2 years protection' for only £69.95!!!

Voted hot anyway.

Is it Pro 2010? If so, then yeah. No need to reinstall, just put the new serial key in.

cold from me.. not even because of the free alternative argument but £10 for 1 pc for one year is cold.. at least with the kaspersky etc you generally get 3 pcs..

Just out of interest, where does it say it's for 1 PC? Trend Micro products are usually 3 user licenses :S

Check out the box shot near the left of the webpage, you can just make out the "3 Users, 1 Year" bit :P

Could be a generic photo. The add no where mentions 3 PC's

If it did turnout to be 3 PC's then there is the free alternative argument..

Plus using a free alternative from elsewhere allowed you to do a periodical scan using trends online free scanner should you feel the need for extra peace of mind..

With regards to the free online scanner, obviously it doesn't provide "always on" protection, firewall, content and URL filtering, spam filtering for email clients and webmail, prevent unauthorised changes, provide data theft protection, smartphone protection, wi-fi advisor, system tuner, secure data vault, and let you update the other clients on the home network remotely. So £9.95 makes this a bargain in my opinion.

I personally would still pay £10 and get all the features mentioned rather than using a free solution.
